Anyone know why Amazing Spider-Man #35 won't be out in September?

    Like This Thread!
I'm guessing Marvel is having problems cause of the WTC attack's. Amazing which usually ships the second week of September hasn't and won't this month. Peter Parker which ships the 3rd week of every month will come out this Wednesday. Does anyone know if it will be out the first week of October? So that would mean # 35 the first week in October and # 36 one week later, I hope.

I'm really anticipating #35 cause it's part one of a 3 part story that will change Peter and Spider-Man as characters and will change the book for along time to come. I think Straczynski is going to play with Spidey's origin a little. He's been hinting at it ever since he took over the Amazing. All I know is I have loved every issue so far that he has written and can't wait for # 35.

I've been waiting for this issue to, and was all pumped for it's release tomorrow. It will now tentively ship October 10th. The reason is just do to delays. It seems that alot of Marvel's high-profile books are running behind schedule either due to artists or writers missing deadlines. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the WTC attack, but I wouldn't be suprised if John Romita Jr. has to go back and redo some pages to erase the WTC.

Well, the location's another issue. Being on 40th street took off 1-3 days of work. Second, if you have ppl living outside Mahattan, it was real rough geting in and out for a while....

So DG, will issue 36 ship in October or is the month of October going to be a bust and they just continue to be one issue behind from now on. December is supposed to be silent month in all of the books and now it looks like part 3 of this big story will be out then instead of November. And honestly I'm not looking forward to silent month.

When Marvel delays a book, sometimes they shine. Why? Becuase the usually keep the same schedule for the following issue. As far as I know, ASM #35 will hit October 10th and the folliwing issue will hit October 24th or 31st. Marvel wants to get any delayed issues on track by December so you can bet everything will get back on track.

It's bumped to next week! GREAT! ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN and AMAZING SPIDER-MAN on the same day...very, very nice....Still, I think Marvel has been handling the delays very well.

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble but it's been pushed back again one week. So it's OCT. 10 now.

They may be fixing art becuase I guess the fight in the issue takes place all throughout New York.

Also, if you go to www.samruby.com - you'll find a BIG, GIGANTIC SHOCKING SPOILER about the ending to the issue. I was shocked by it...
