John Byrne drawing Funky Winkerbean?

Call me crazy, but the past two days it has looked like John Byrne has been drawing the syndicated comic, Funky Winkerbean. Anyone else familiar with Byrne's style care to comment?

I have noticed a vast difference in the artwork. It's even more obvious in my local paper, as Funky is only a few strips down from Crankshaft, so you can tell the difference.

I'm not sure if it's him, but it'll be very cool if it is.

I read that Byrne's standing in as temporary artist on the strip...hence the change in artwork. Let's just hope he doesn't get any "ideas" to "improve" the strip's backstory...
