I currently own the following Bat books:

Year One
The Killing Joke
Dark Knight Returns
Cataclysm
NML Vol. 1-5
Evolution
Officer Down
Murderer.

At the end of the month I should be getting The Long Halloween, Dark Victory, Birds Of Prey, Robin: Year One, Batgirl: Silent Running, Batgirl: A Knight Alone and eventually Dark Knight Strikes Again, Batgirl: Year One & Bruce Wayne: Fugitive.

I really wanna get the TPBs that have covered any major events with the Post-Crisis Batman.

Okay. You might also want to get:

- Batman: A Death in the Family (death of Jason Todd)
- Batman: A Lonely Place of Dying (Leads to Tim Drake becoming Robin)
- Batman: Knightfall (Batman's back broken)
- Batman: Knightquest (Azrael's reign as the Bat)
- Batman: Knightsend (Bruce takes back the mantle of the Bat from a psychotic Azrael)
- Batman: Prodigal (Dick Grayson fills in for Bruce for several months)

That's all I can think of for now. Oh yeah, I wouldn't worry about reading "Dark Knight Strikes Again". It's crazy.

Batman - The Cult: Probably the best story involving Jason Todd as Robin, a really unsung but great tpb - very intense!!!

Batman - A Death in the Family: Joker kills Jason Todd the 2nd Robin

Batman - A Lonley Place of Dying: Introduces Tim Drake (3rd and current Robin) plus reinstates partnership of Batman and Nightwing

Batman - Knightfall (Books 1 & 2): Bane Breaks the Batman, Azreal becomes Az-Bats

Batman - KnightsEnd: Bruce takes cowl back from an insane Azreal

Batman - Prodigal: Bruce hands the mantle of the Batman over to Dick Grayson (which is what he should have done in the first place )

Batman - Contagion: "The Clench" hits Gotham

Batman - Legacy: How & who was behind "The Clench" hitting Gotham

Robin - A Hero Reborn: collects Tim Drakes birth as the new Robin and his first solo 5 pt mini-series - debut of new costume!

Robin - Triumph and Tradgedy (collects second Robin mini-series) - Tim Drake confronts the Joker as Robin for the first time since Mr. J "offed" the previous Mr. Todd.

And some really GREAT Legends of the DK TPB's:

Batman: Prey - GREAT Hugo Strange origin story

Batman: Venom - Batman gets a taste of the drug that later in a more advance form fuels Bane, another all time classic arc!

Batman: Faces - great Two-Face arc

Batman: Haunted Knight - Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale pre-Long Halloween and Dark Victory, a great read!

I think that should cover all of them with the ones you listed!!!

FYI - KnightsQuest was never put into TPB form - I don't know why - but I can assume It's really the adventures of Jean-Paul as Az-Bats wreaking havoc while Bruce Wayne tries to recover from his Broken Back.

I'd also recommend JLA: Tower of Babel.

It may be a JLA book, but it's a major event involving Batman and his relationship with the team.
