The Ravagers (2012 Series) Talkback (Spoilers)
So, I decided to grab The Ravagers #1 and I am so seriously glad that I did, it was a really fun book and told a fantastic story and had amazing art by Ian Churchill in who I've been a fan of since his work on The Coven back in the late 90's. Count me in for the 2nd issue which I plan on getting on my next trip to the comic book store!
I absolutely loved the design of the two adversaries toward the end of the book (their names escape me right now) and I can't wait to see the battle unfold in the 2nd issue, this book really gripped me and I hope DC plans on publishing The Ravagers for the long haul and not cancelling it anytime soon because I am absolutely hooked. Great job to Mackie and Churchill on making me care more about a team book than I have in a while, and that's coming from a guy who reads Justice League, Legion of Super-Heroes, and Legion Lost.
And man, Ravagers #2 was simply awesome! I'm loving the enemies in this book almost as much (if not more) than the heroes with great villains such as Shadow Walker and Harvest who have amazing designs and what seems to be cool abilities. The Ravagers team is great too with a nice lineup diverse with many different kinds of characters. Count me in for the long haul!
I'm a little sad that Shadow Walker appears to be dead now, I'm hoping he was just sent back to Harvest while licking his wounds and isn't completely dead since he had such a cool design and power. Great issue, though!
Yeah, I have a....
