    Talking Blacksad for the win

Without a doubt, I'm ordering the Blacksad volume. Lord knows how much I love the art.

As usual, I'll be picking up Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 8 [issue #31 this month], which is nearing its end now - I think there are supposed to be 40 issues before "Season 9" starts

I love Georges Jeanty's cover for this issue!!

    Getting:

Conan the Cimmerian #18: I really hope they get a new cover artist soon...Linsner's covers are allright, I suppose, but he doesn't evoke Conan quite as well as others artists...thankfully, the interior art still rocks.
Solomon Kane: Death's Black Riders #1: Ah, Dark Horse finally raises the prices on a Robert E. Howard title. Still, $3.50 is better than what Marvel's doing...

    My comments:

    - I still like the first Aliens vs. Predator series, but dumped the sequel (which had the return of Machiko Noguchi) because I thought it kind of sucked. Mark me as a maybe for the new Aliens vs. Predator: Three World War series when it hits trade.

    - I might pick up that Blacksad volume. Heard enough good things about it to pique my interest.

Wow, that's it? Huh. Well, better for the wallet, anyway.

No Goon or Usagi that month so it's just the Hellboy tpb and BPRD issue for me.
