The awkwardness after the war is over was portrayed nicely in the first sequence of this issue. With that I'm mainly referring to the Mockingbird situation and the Spider-Woman situation.
Speaking of Spider-Woman, I wonder if she'll finally be getting her own solo book that Bendis has wanted to write for so long, or if there are no longer any plans for that now that she's just a "regular" character. If I recall correctly, Bendis was planning to use the last issue of her book to reveal that she was a Skrull. And what's up with her powers now? Wasn't she abducted before she managed to get her powers back?
The focus on Luke Cage's and Jessica's sadness and despair over SkrullJarvis abducting their baby was good, though the sympathy from the other heroes felt a bit too much at times. But the scene with Cage and Jessica catching that lady Skrull and getting her to confess - only to have her blown away by one of the angry S.H.I.E.L.D. agents was dynamite.
As for the cliffhanger: no way did I see that coming! It should prove for an interesting storyline though!
