Well personally I finished the book yesturday. To me it's my perfect kind of comic, I don't generally get chance to get many comics and usually when I do get one I'm completely lost on where to start because of all the stories and continuty (sp?) but this allowed to you slot in anywhere and about to enjoy the book still to it's fullest. I actually didn't know Sam and Max was originally a comic until last year when I found out about the 'Season 1' game. I had grown up with the 'Hit The Road' game and later found the cartoon series appealing. So when I had found out Sam and Max was actually a year older than me I was surprised! I was happy though that there was comics because I was drawn to their sadistic (would that be the correct term?) humour.
I also love the artwork. I've gotten into comics through my love for animation like B:tAS and S: tAS and so I have always prefered the 'toony' drawnings. I do like normal graphic novel style, it's just my passion comes from cartoons. I also prefer my darkness to be touched with comedy, makes it more enjoyable for me. So the reason that the artwork is softer than normal graphic drwans enhanced the appeal and homour in my eyes. I was laughing out loud with this title, and I think now I want a psychotic white bunny.
