    - Grodd vs. Monsieur Mallah and the Brain. I'm almost sad I haven't been following Salvation Run.

    - re: Booster Gold #0. A Zero Hour tie-in? I'm sure I'm missing something about this, or I'm having flashbacks. I'm not sure which would be more confusing.

    - I love Cliff Chiang.

    - That's certainly an interesting cover to Detective Comics #841. Hey, if the short, shrimpy, bald guy with glasses doesn't work, replace him with a hot blonde woman.

    - Cool cover to Blue Beetle #24.

    - Seeing as there doesn't seem to be a forthcoming "Jack Kirby's OMAC Omnibus" anytime soon, I think I'll pre-order that Countdown Special: OMAC.

    - That Family Circus "follow Billy's path" joke is getting more and more complicated as time goes on.

    - We get another Spirit issue penned by Mark Evanier and Sergio Aragones with art by Mike Ploog and a cover by Paul Smith. What's not to like?

    - I'm on the fence on that Green Arrow Year One HC. I've heard a lot of really good things about it, but I'm not sure I want to pop that much cash for it in hardcover.

    - Between Robin #171 and Robin: The Big Leagues TPB, it's a good month for the Boy Wonder for covers.

    - Yup. Still hate Alex Ross' Shazam. Kingdom Come was supposed to be the EXCEPTION, where it was OK to make him a big meanie.

    - Man, does this solicitation seem to go on forever, or is it just me?

    - New Astro City: The Dark Age special. I'm there.

    - Definitely picking up the second Stormwatch: PhD TPB. The first one was a load of fun.

    - New DMZ TPB, too.

    - Yeeeee-OUCHIE!!!!

    - I'm reading them in trades, but I did want to point out that this month's Fables is drawn by Niko Henrichon, who did a killer job on BKV's Pride of Baghdad not too long ago.

Wow, five confirmed pre-orders and one maybe in a solicitation that felt really huge to me.

    I'll definently be picking up:

Teen Titans: Year One #2: This sounds like a lot of fun, but I'm getting a creepy vibe off of Cover #2 and Cover #1...what was up with DC giving all of their teenage characters such small shorts back then?

Booster Gold #0: Tonight we're going to party like it's 1994!!! (a "Zero Hour" tie-in makes me nostalgic...)

Astro City: The Dark Age (Special #2): Beautie (one-shot): Gotta get my Astro City fix...

Ex Machina #34: So when does this series wrap up again? Surely this plot can't drag on forever....

Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash #5

    Scalped #14

On the "Maybe I'll get it, maybe I won't" list:

Bat Lash #3: I'm feeling a craving for Western titles again...
Justice League of America #18: Still undecided...but man, that's a sweet cover.
Jonah Hex #28: I had just dropped this title a couple weeks back, only to finally getting around to reading the last 3 issue, (#23-25) and discover them to be the best in the series in some time. Damn, I really do have a craving for Westerns right now...

Northlanders #3: Still waiting and seeing before I sign on for this, (to get my Viking fix)...
