I was looking forward to the conclusion of Hulk Gray, but I didn't see it... so it must have been pushed back again. But this week still looks good:

Abadazad #2

Adventures of Superman #626 - At first I wasn't all that into this storyline, but things of late had changed my view and I really enjoyed this issue. Clark meets Lyla in Metropolis and they have their exchange. I actually find her character interesting and would like to see more. The segment with Superman's past villians was cool, and that ending has me looking forward to the conclusion. I can't wait to see how it all goes down. The backup was touching and nicely done. ****1/2

Superman/Batman #8 - I really enjoyed this issue. It was a good start to a new arc, which hopefully won't spiral out of control like the last one. The introduction of Kara was well done and will be interesting to see how this all plays out... I'm especially curious how Darkseid becomes involved. I wonder if Kara's ship was on that Kryptonite asteroid... might explain why it was headed for Earth. The art was well done and looked very stylish... should fit well with the story. I hope future issues continue to be this good. ****1/2

Thanos #8 - This issue was better than the previous one and seemed much easier to follow. The story is starting to build up and now with the Beyonder becoming involved, things should get interesting. I enjoy seeing Thanos in scenes without super-powered beings... it shows how powerful he really is and how feared others are of him. The art was done well. A decent story that looks to be getting better. ***1/2
