I read the "Syndicate Rules" TPB recently, and when mentioning Krona, it refers to his fate from the JLA/Avengers miniseries. I heard from wikipedia that Avengers was also going to follow up on it, but no longer happened because the change to "New Avengers".
Anyone know what plot was suppose to arise from JLA/Avengers for Marvel?

I think that was just there because Kurt Busiek wrote both of them.
I don't know of any plans to follow it up, but if you want another fun little nod, in New Thunderbolts, The Wrecker (I think it was him) mistook Speed Demon for The Flash.
