    Black mask has become so popular...

    Like This Thread!
    ...in the last few years.He used to be some corny villain (to some,not me) but now he is like the godfather of gotham.What do you guys say?

    I say the notion of a puppet as the leader of an organized mob was one of the dumbest ideas in Bat-history and that Black Mask isn't nearly as corny. At all.

    I don't read Batman mainstream comics so I don't know why he's become so popular, but I do like the character very much. Part of what appeals him to me is his backstory. I find it interesting that he has a lot in common with Bruce Wayne. Both were the sons of rich men, but unlike Wayne, Roman went down the dark path and became Black Mask. I also like his visual look, almost a cross between Red Skull and Two-Face - very creepy!
