    Spider-Man comic news

Here some enws for my fellow Spider-Man comic fans. I hope you enjoy. I got it from www.silverbulletcomics.com .

On New Year's Eve, Peter Parker: Spider-Man artist Mark Buckingham slipped on black ice and shattered his elbow into pieces, resulting in a three-day stay in hospital.

However, fortunately for his fans, it was his left arm and not his drawing arm that was injured and so he is continuing to work on Peter Parker: Spider-Man #41, which he should finish by the end of January.

Buckingham told SBC Senior Editor Craig Lemon that he had recently received the last half of the plot from Paul Jenkins. The issue is the third and final episode in their Doctor Octopus trilogy and will have a slightly darker undertone than the usual Doc Ock confrontations, with the villain Fusion returning to cause further chaos.

The next two issues will be a standalone two-parter featuring the return of the Sandman, written and drawn by a new creative team.

Jenkins returns to write #44 through #47 where Humberto Ramos will draw a Green Goblin four-parter, developing the relationship between the Goblin and Spider-Man since their last encounter in issue #25. With Ramos drawing these issues, Buckingham will be able to start work on #48 early, in order to get ahead of schedule with the added bonus of raising the profile of the book in response to the May release of the movie.

A new trilogy featuring a major change in Peter Parker's life starts with #48 ending in a double-sized #50, "that will knock your socks off," according to Buckingham.

We at Silver Bullet Comics wish Mark a speedy recovery.

I can't wait for that Spider-Man/Green Goblin story!

Gee, that upcoming Goblin story wouldn't be released around the time of a certain movie, would it? Seriously, I hope Marvel has a lot of great Spidey stuff in comic shops come May. They really dropped the ball on X-Men. All any new and curious fans had waiting for the in shops was the latest Claremont blabfest.

Ultimate Spider-Man #22 will also feature a double sized Spidey/Green Goblin showdown. It was explain why GG is a big hulking monster who can only grunt. I'm anxious to see what Bendis pulls out...

Awesome, looking forward to it, along with more awesome stuff from AMAZING SPIDER-MAN (which is easily one of the best books on the market).
