Is Spawn...ending?
I haven't gotten Spawn in......nearly a decade. The only TPBs I have is the first two. That's it. But on looking at the solications, it seems that the series is looking like it'll end because the Heaven/Hell war.
What's going on?

"What's going on?"
The simplest answer is "not much." I ran with Spawn from issues #61 to #100--but a change in art team (as well as a need to reduce the number of books I had) forced me to drop it shortly afterwards. Since then, not much has really happened. Spawn was ultimately forced to decide whether he wanted to fight for either Hell or Heaven--and in the end he gave both sides the big finger and continued lurking around in garbage-strewn alleys on Earth feeling sorry for himself. Yes, he took out the occasional gangster or supernatural villain now and then, but otherwise the status quo really hasn't changed. Indeed, the book fell victim to being terribly late at times and falling off a monthly schedule.
But beginning with issue #150 late last year, however, the current creators have promised to re-energize the title and move both the book and the character in a new direction. If nothing else, they appear to have returned the book back to coming out on a regular basis...

Howdy,
Don't worry, comic-book Spawn isn't going anywhere, if the reports from the Spawn panel at the New York Comic-Con are to be believed. Scroll down all the way to the bottom of the report -- they talk about the current comics about 7 paragraphs from the bottom, once they're done talking about movies, toys, animated series, and Spawn/Batman.

Oh ok.
So my next question would be: what are the new stuff and what are you getting?
