    Runaways, Vol. 2?

    Like This Thread!
I recently acquired the big hardcover editions of Runaways, Vol. 1 and Invincible, Vol. 1. I am eager to continue reading both series, and I see that the hardcover Invincible, Vol. 2 is set to pop soon. But what's the story with Runaways, Vol. 2? Is it likely I will see this eventually?

No spoilers, please. I have not read either of these series outside of these two hardcovers.

It's likely that there will be a second Runaways hardcover, since the first volume was well-received and garnered a lot of attention in other media outlets. However, there has been no announcement yet, and vol. 2 is only at issue #12, which means that it will be a long wait if the second hardcover is going to have the same page count as the first.

    Howdy,

As Sandoz said, the first Runaways HC has been very well received, and the second season has had significantly better sales than the last time around. It wouldn't surprise me if they do another HC (and I'd be first in line to get it, since the first one was all kinds of awesome), but I wouldn't hold my breath for it.

At the moment, I think there are 1 or 2 digest editions out, which are cheap and have much better reproduction than the original Runaways digests. They're a good way to keep up until an HC is announced. It would be double-dipping, but you can always hand off the digests to a younger relative, I suppose.
