    Azrael Cancelled..

    Like This Thread!
Azrael cancelled, some maybe outraged, I for one am glad at this accouncement.

I have never liked Azrael, and I hope the last issuse has him get killed.
The guy is useless, and annoying, he's like Nightwing lite. The only way for him to be Azrael is to wear that stupid costume of his.
I used to read his book but then it got lame.
Is anyone else cheering the death of this comic like I am??

Do we actually know for sure that it was cancelled? There was the cryptic "Beginning of the End" line that I read about, but that could mean many things. I don't particularly care about what happens to this book one way or the other, but let's not get too excited about this yet.

The only reason this title has lasted so long is because it's written by Denny O'Neil. I personally hate this character. So much so that I didn't read any of the book during NML, or during the off periods.

I'm amazed this Godforsaken book is still on the market. Then again, I hated the character back in Knightfall. "Nightwing Lite"? Maybe, but I'm thinking more like "Jason Todd Lite". Please, DC, put Azzy out of our misery. Trust me, we will not miss this Batbook...

It's not cancelled yet, but I hear that O'Neil has a year, until issue #95 I think, to turn this series around or it's going in the dumpster. I'm pretty sure this series is done for. There's no way short of Kevin Smith writing it that can save this title.

I always have like it and still do...I know I'm in the minority, but that gives me all the more reason to enjoy it
