    ViewAskew Comics

How many comics based on Kevin Smith's ViewAskewniverse (Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay & Silent Bob) have there been? I haven't seen one for a long time. I have the Jay & Silent Bob mini-series and some Clerks one-shots, and I want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

Yup, there was J&SB, the three Clerks, and issues 1 & 12 of Oni Double Feature. Issue 1 had a Jay & Bob story, issue 12 had a Bluntman & Chronic story.

And, eventually, the Bluntman & Chronic mini series will be released. It was supposed to be a mini, 4 issues, released in July, but it got delayed, and delayed, and delayed, so they decided to just release it as a trade.

This one's not Kev's fault, tho. Micheal Avon Oming has been taking awhile to finish. In fact, it's still not done.

Also, there has been a move from Oni to Image. I don't know if that delayed anything, but I am sure it didn't help. But I am wondering if Kevin Smith has much time to keep up with writing new comics for the Jersy Universe, given his involvement in movie projects and staying busy with Marvel and DC. Not to mention all the other side things he has going on.

    Oni Double Feature #1 & #12 (Oni, 1998)
    Clerks (Oni, 1998)
    Clerks (Holiday Special) (Oni, 1998)
Clerks (The Lost Scene) (Oni, 1998)
Jay and Silent Bob #1-4 (Oni, 1998) [Also known as Chasing Dogma]

His Daredevils were also in 1998, and start at #1 and finish at #8. The August '01 issue of Wizard gave a good rundown.

I know you can pick up Chasing Dogma and his Daredevils now in those hard editions (can't think of the proper name), but single issues you'll have to get on your own.

I was a little disapointed with his Green Arrows actually. They started off great, but as soon as Blood really entered the picture it just seem to go all wrong.

Also, we're eventually supposed to get a MALLRATS one-shot and a Bartleby & Loki mini, but there's no telling if those projects will actually see the light of day.
