Sonic the Hedgehog!

This be the topic to talk about it! One of the best selling comics in comicdom! Archie, Fleetway, say what you want about it! (and perhaps brag about the collections we have-I've the original mini-series and ih #1 in mint condition, and 40-103 mint as well. )

....uh....I'll start off with a discussion, though. Did anyone else think that it's nice we have a story arc in Archie concentrating soley on the original Freedom Fighters?

I dont like Karl Bollers much and Ron Lim is BY FAR _NOT_ my favorite artist - but the post Sonic 75 issues have been a lot better than the post Sonic 50 issues

Bollers, I think, is a good writer, but needs a boost of self-confidence and more space to work with. #75 to 80 were very good work by him.
Of course, Penders needs to get back into writing a bit as well...I wish him well when he can write once more. The latest Knuckles storyline is rather sucky.

I also wish James Fry still worked on the art, though. I agree, the art's been horrible lately. Heck, some of the artwork coulda been done by SECOND GRADERS!

Of course, all these problems could be solved if Archie gave a bit more than a rat's rump to the comics...

I simply can't stand the current state of the Sonic comics. Karl Bollers for one, can not do decent characterazation. Nor can he write a interesting story. I stopped buying the title at #99 because I knew it was only to going to get worse.

Me too, I have the original miniseries + a special fold out edition of the #1 comic from an old Sega Visions magazine... I also have through 11 of the regular series...

haven't read that comic in such a long time and from the way you guys are talking, maybe I don't need to...

Yeah, I'm finding Sonic to get a little boring. But you have to admit, there were some very funny stories before SONIC 50 (not saying the issues after #50 are bad, or anything).

My favorite issues were the TAILS mini-series. Tails has always my favorite Sonic character for some reason.
