Question and comment about Wonder Woman

I was on the message board on DC comics official site and someone said there's a rumor of WW losing her viriginity and that there will be reprucussions. Has anyone else heard about this? And who is Steve Trevor?

I haven't heard of any repercussions, but it might have something to do with her carrying on with men (Amazons hate men).

Steve Trevor was Wonder Woman's boyfriend from the Golden Age of Comics (the 1940s).

Are you talking about her losing her virginity in Timm's JL or in the comic books? I did hear that she would have a romance with Steve Trevor in JL a while back but nothing about her losing her virginity with devastating consequences.

As for your second question about who Steve Trevor is, there are two answers really. In WW's first incarnation, Steve is in the military during World War II. During a dog fight he crashed on Paradise Island. The Amazons nurtured him back to health and Wonder Woman returned him home, but fell in love with him in the process. She convinced her mother to let an Amazon go to man's world to protect the righteous. Her mother agreed so she held a contest where the strongest Amazon would go to man's world but Diana was not allowed to compete. So, she disguised herself, won the contest and her mother had to let her go. As Diana she worked as Steve's secretary and helped America fight the Nazis and other evil forces.

Now, in the late 80s DC re-released WW with a new story that included Steve Trevor in a lessor role. In this story Ares was using the Russians and certain Americans to start a world war. Again Steve was in the military and was shot down on Paradise Island as part of dog fight, only this time the plane crash was orchestrated by Ares to get rid of Trevor and not part of a World War II battle. Again Steve was nurtured back to health and WW returned him to man's world. This time she stayed as WW to defeat Ares before returning to Paradise Island. After the defeat the competition was held like in the first version and Diana won, thus becoming Wonder Woman, the Amazon ambassador of peace in man's world. However, in this more recent version there was no romance between WW and Steve Trevor, only a close friendship. Steve actually ended up marrying another military person and the two appear from time to time.
