I met Frank Miller tonight!!

it was soo cool. after i already bought the dark knight strikes again and read it this afternoon AND posted my thoughts on it here, i was walking down the street at like 7 and saw that frank miller was signing dk2 at virgin megastore. so i waited for like 1 1/2 hours and got to meet him!! he was actually younger than i envisioned, he was like 45, i figured he'd be like 60 (maybe cause i imagined him as bruce's age).

but it was awesome, the virgin people were saying only one signing per customer, but i had two, one for me and one for my brother, and asked the woman taking the books and handing them to him if i could get 2 signed, and she was a real bi%%%, and was like, no, but then i was like, whatever, and asked frank directly and he was soo cool about it and was like, yeah, who should i make it out to. i think he was simpathetic cause i told him it was for my little brother.

but i wanted to ask him for the scoop on the year one movie, but i was so nervous and the virgin people were like treating the people like an assembly line, so by the time i wanted to ask, he was already signing someone else's book. so i got nervous and left (only after checking out the shway dk2 statue on his table.) well, hed probably just say something like "its going to rock" or something like that.

but it was definately cool, and i didnt even know about it, it was so unexpected and perfect cause the whole day i had dk2 on my mind cause it was just soo good. and i was surprised to see how many frank miller fans there were, all different kinds of people, it was cool as hell. peace.

I understand my friend. It's like the time I stood in line to meet Omar Vizquel, of Simpsons baseball card fame. They cut the line off right in front of me because a tornado was coming, but Omar went "Hey, let the kid up here."
