    Not to nitpick here, but wasn't there an all black Batman cover a while back - when they introduced one of the "new costume" designs? I seem to remember one that was prestige format, all black, with Batman's shape raised on the cover.

    I'm guessing it's Marvel's first all black cover. BATMAN #515 had an all black cover with only the issue number, price and company logo visible. The rest, including the name of the comic, was black.

    It looks amazing. I can't wait to read this. I think it's completely fitting that it is SPIDER-MAN dealing with this, and not someone like THE X-MEN or PUNISHER....although the Punisher could be useful now....
