Best Spidey Writer?
Hey,
We've had a large number of Spider-Man writers in the characters 40+ history. One of the more unique aspects of Spidey is he's more or less always been the Spidey of today, the wisecracking nerd who learned what comes with great power. He's not the one who seems to change every decade or have his origin tinkered with to make it make more sense in todays world.
Indeed, He's always been Spidey. He's now more popular than he's ever been. But who's Spidey is best? Who captured the character best?

Stan Lee is the most obvious of answers, due to the fact that he actually created Spider-Man, but Paul Jenkins has done the best job of taking the characters and expanding on them in a direction that I can agree with. His work on Peter Parker: Spider-Man and Spectacular Spider-Man have been excellent, and while some of his work isn't always as good as the rest, it pays off in the end.
