    Eye Of The Camera?

    Like This Thread!
Anyone know what happened to this supposed sequel to "Marvels"? I was eager for it (Particularly if a wink or nod was given to the HTD campaign). What happened?

wizard zero talks about this sequel. wizard zero was published july 2003 and the article says that eye of the camera #1 would not be ready until the end of 2003 or early 2004. kurt busiek is writing it, but alex ross will not be doing the art. alex ross not doing the art is a let down for me. jay anacleto will be doing the art for eye of the camera.

of course at the end of 2003 busiek was working on jla/avengers and he is now currently working on jla. i hope eye of the camera comes out soon, but i havent seen any news about it since last july.
DISCLAIMER: I am not bitter that I didn't get my Superman Returns sequel. My thoughts and opinions on Man Of Steel are (hopefully) completely objectional and unbiased. That said, Superman Returns is better.

    Same here.

I also remember a "Marvels" sequel thought up shortly after the first entitled "Cops and Robbers". Now that story is going to be in the new Astro City (also by Busiek).

    Howdy,

Kurt Busiek still has Eye of the Camera on his plate, but it's not coming any time soon, from all indications. With his current schedules for Conan, Astro City, and the soon-to-be Astro City, plus the health problems he's struggled with over the years, I wouldn't hold your breath.

I thought I read about "Cops and Robbers" somewhere on the "Kurt's Question Corner" thread at the Astro City board, and vaguely recall that it was something Busiek was going to do for Astro City, but has since morphed into either the Blue Knight story from Local Heroes or the upcoming "Dark Age" story arc.
