    DC Comics for January

    Like This Thread!
Hey guys, I just spent about 8 hours making a page for January's DC Comics. I plan on doing this every month, and may even do it for this November and December's comics, even though that info has been around for a while. Anyway, here's the page:

I'm curious about what everyone thinks of the way it's laid out. I tried to make it a little different from how a certain other site does it. The images are less compressed, and there aren't any pop-up ads getting in the way. I put each "family" of titles in a different section, and listed them by their release date. Is this a good way of doing it? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

    Excellent!
Runs great the "family" sections make it more efficient. I'll be checking in every month.

That's a LOT better than any of the other sites that post this. Thanks!

Definatly! COMIC CONTINUUM's server is a joke, causing the covers to post slower than a turle on sedatives. This is a greta section which I think can boast ToonZone. I wil definatly be plugging it madly.

Oh, man, I know whatcha mean! Everytime I gotta stop loading the Continuum's web page, and then individually click each cover to download them. And even that's a maybe. This is way better.

Thanks for the praise, guys! I just finished up the page for December's comics. I hope to get November done by Monday. Then I'll wrap them all up in a nice package somewhere on the main TZ comics page.

The praise is definatly warranted I can't think of any other site that does these soliciations. Plus I really like how you've divided these into different sections, etc...I'll make sure the the Batman: TAN newsletter plugs these.

Okay, I've added the November comics:

    http://www.toonzone.net/comics/solicitations/2001-11/

I've also added a section to the main comics page that lists the November, December, and January solicitations. Hopefully, Harley will update the animated comics part of the page soon, and I'll write something about it for the main page. Then you can promote it like mad. It'd be nice to have all the hard work rewarded...
