    G.I. Joe # 2 shipping early on October 31!

This comes from the Comics Continuum and Cinescape....

"Image Comics has announced that G.I. JOE #2 will be in stores on Oct. 31, almost a month earlier than its originally solicited ship date.

The announcement comes roughly a month after the first printing of G.I. JOE #1 sold out within a week. The original run, which sold out even though it was over-printed from orders by a factor of one third, has prompted Image to adopt the same policy of aggressive overprinting on issue #2.

"With orders for the second issue coming in significantly higher than the first, overprinting was the only logical thing to do," says Image Comics publisher Jim Valentino.

The first three issues of G.I. JOE have been solicited on a bi-monthly basis, but based on response to the initial two, Image indicated that might soon change.

"From day one our goal has been to go monthly after issue five. It looks like we'll be going monthly after issue four now," G.I. JOE writer Joshua Blaylock says."

Glad to see Image has taken notice. Now I don't have much to complain about this series anymore. Other than their choice for an artist.
