    Who Reads Catwoman?

    Like This Thread!
I ask this becuase I got issues #0 - 40 for only $20 today and I'm hoping this is a damn good deal. I hear that Catowman's book went "weird" before DC cancelled it, in order for the revamp in Nov. So any comments from any Catwoman readers? I won't get to read them until this weekend and I do have an issue here and there (any involved in a crossover). So...comments?...Please?

You got 0-40 for just 20 dollars!!!!!!????? Wow, you lucky dog. I think you got an EXCELLENT deal! I loved this comic and thought most of them were good. They only got bad towards the end. IMO you shouldn't have anybad ones there! But if you don't want them, I'll take 'em!! I don't have several of the first ones that I would like to have and some of mine aren't in such good condition!

If there are any I don't like, maybe I'll pass them your way. I got $90 worth of comics for $20 buck so I wouldn't be losing anymoney. I was skimming through the credits and what amazed me is that Balent is the artist for ALL the issues, something that is such a rarity this day and age. I may try and search out all up them up to the end of NML. I hear it went downhill from there.

With Brubaker on tap as permenant writer? Oh yeah - it'll cook! With Cooke, then Radar, doing the pencils? Oh yeah! With Mike Allred inking? I...think you get my point! The creative team seems to really meld on this book and it seems like such a fresh appraoch. The only thing that gets me down is the $2.50 price tag. I wish the Batline would take a hint from the Superline and make all the books $2.25. (And while they're at it - cancel Azrael) I will pick up this book for sure. The Selina Kyle artwork has been to drool for.

And reading these 41 Catwoman issues will prep me for the new series when it's released in November.
