Well....it's simply not my kind of show, the jokes are rather tasteless in my opinion. But I don't hate it enough to make it go away, because the Red Guy is what keeps me from doing that. So, I simply ignore it...
Hate it
Love it
Ignore it
Come on you either hate, it love, it or ignore, it let us know. I think it is pretty funny if you get past the crudeness of it.

I don't like it, it's trying too much to be Ren and Stimpy and winds up just being weird but not funny. Sometimes I chuckle at it but usually I avoid it because it is usually just plain stupid.
In my opinion, "Cow and Chicken" is one of the worst of the Cartoon Cartoons. I think it is more sophisticated than it allows itself to be, with great characters, and that's a shame...crude jokes and cruder animation make this one a change-the-channel-quick show for me. It also didn't help when it was one of the most common series to have its short wedged into the beginning of "Bugs and Daffy" back a year or two ago...you cannot compare crap like Cow and Chicken to classic cartoons. I do, however, like its spinoff, "I Am Weasel". Whatever happened to Weasel, anyway?

Cow and Chicken is too crude in all aspects (animation, story, etc.) for my taste. Besides, all the butt jokes get old very quickly.
As for Weasel, I dunno about him...
"Pinky, my parents...they're driving me insane!"
"Egad Brain, really? Ooh, well that kinda leaves me without much to do..."
The animation and storylines are horrible. Maybe if the animation changed and they stopped using the Red Guy, the show would have been better.

OK, enough from me, I just thought the show was gross and the lamest thing CN has spit out..

I think that someone at the boards had an opportunity a while back to ask Michael Dorn (voice of Weasel) about the show, and he said that he thought that they weren't doing any more. If Dorn didn't think that they were doing any more, I think that is a pretty definitive answer.
The Ren&Stimpy-ripoff aspect was a real turn off for me for the longest time, but it has grown on me. Big Red, actually, is the reason I'll watch it; if he's not there I tend to drift.
I much prefer IM Weasel, though.
I liked it enough to watch it once. Maybe twice or thrice, but repeated showings wore on me. Something that can't be said for most KWB toons & some CC toons. I noticed that Atoms came on board for the '98 & succeeding seasons; he's done much better since. All of the posterior refs & various bodily discharges grossed me out, which makes me think I wouldn't've liked Ren & Stimpy had I ever seen it (even had Kricfalusi not trashed TTA & suceeding KWB shows). The ep Chicken In the Bathroom comes to mind. The various euphemisms for using the facilities fascinated me, but once I had the list I wanted to flush it. Recently I've become interested in C&C, but only in a morbidly curious way. That is, I just watch it for the credits so I can map out who was involved with which eps & when. I miss the days when it aired with IMW & there were individual end credits; now it's just one end credit for the entire series. Thus far I have the credits for 33 of 105 C&C eps (yes, I'm including --- & no I don't have them particularly --- the No Smoking pilot which only comes on once in a blue moon & the Buffalo Gals ep which will probably never come on again; now there's a reason for Adult Swim) & 33 of the 79 IMW eps. But I'm adding to both constantly.
As for what happened with IMW? Well, in the final ep, I Are Legend, Weasel found that he & Baboon had been made into a tv show (watched by C&C, despite the Who Rubbed Out C&C ep), which caused him to determine to erase himself from existence, thus negating the tv show. I think. I'll need to go back & watch that ep again before I tape over it, if I haven't already. To sum up, not one of my favorites but I wouldn't wish it harm.
If you don't like your options, make another option.
To quote the classic show "The Critic"
"Jay son, you called Beauty and the Beast a combination of crap and fantasy. - Duke"
"I call it fantacrap - Jay"
Don't remember the movies name though...
Anyway, C&C is definitly Fantacrap. Definitly, definitly...
I agree that it's the weakest of the Cartoon Cartoons. Well, I am not a huge fan of Ed, Edd and Eddie either. But I forgive them, because there is more I like on Cartoon Netork than shows I don't like.
I don't exactly hate it, but I don't love it either. I won't lie to you; David Feiss goes way overboard on the butt shots. But this is a good program. Hearing Cow, Chicken and the Red Guy, you can certainly tell that Charlie Adler enjoyed working on the show. I dare say that this is some of his best work. There are a number of episodes which I love:
The Girls' Room
Cow's Dream Catcher
Cow's Pie (written and storyboarded by the great Genndy Tartakovsky!)
Just my opinion.
I feel that a big problem with today's society is that we don't listen to our fellow man -- especially when I'm talking.

Cartoon Network actually renewed C&C itself for a new season, but not IMW.
Someone told me Craig McCracken is doing the art direction, but I doubt that, because he has his hands full with the PPG movie. Unless they produced the episodes a while ago.
I think Cow & Chicken falls in the middle of what Cartoon Cartoons have to offer. I agree with Lonestarr29 about Charlie Adler's voice work; it's one of my favorite things about Cow & Chicken I like the drawing, too; it looks a little stoppy but I think a lot of work goes into it to make it look that way.
But what sets me off is just the general grossness of the series, especially Cow's udder. There just seems to be something unsavory about the attention paid to it.

So my mom watches the show with me once and tells me, "You could do better than than." Maybe she's right about scripts or artwork, but no way could I have as much vocal energy as Charlie Adler. Esp. as the devil. "Oh! A chicken suit! Now I can die happy!" I'm thinking Adler has the creative freedom here he lacked on TTA and left in a huff over. Mind you, it doesn't make every script gold, but...hey, it's just a hoot to see a big muscular biker-looking dude with tattoos and piercings sit down in front of that mike and talk in a little girly voice....![]()

I'm wondering if it would be just as entertaining (maybe more so) to just film him doing all the voices, and forget the animation.Originally posted by DR. BELCH

Damn, am I the only one who likes Cow and Chicken? I don't think it was funny as Ren and Stimpy, but I still loved it and I"m sad that it got cancelled. It's always the good shows that get cancelled.
