    The Best Cartoon Cartoons

    Like This Thread!
Hey, who else likes Cartoon Cartoons? I have made fun of my friend for the past year for loving them, but this summer I really got to sit down and watch them and I realized how funny they really are.

So what are you favorite Cartoon Cartoons?

    Cartoon Cartoons

I enjoy Dexter's Lab, Power Puff Girls, and Ed, Edd, and Eddy. But Courage the Cowardly Dog, Sheep in the Big City, and the newer Johnny Bravo shorts are mediocre and pointless at best. My favorite thing to do is flip the audio on my cable box to Spanish and listen to the dubs to brush up on mi lecciones del espanol...but some of these things are creepy. The voices are weird and high and the sound quality is washed out; plus they translate some of the words really strangely. Elsewhere Rocky and I discuss what they do to The Flintstones...[shudder] I still can't figure out why Betty keeps uttering the words "Cootchie, cootchie" like a cut-rate Charro.

    cartoons cartoons rock!

Some great stuff. Cow and Chicken is incredible. I like Dexter's Lab, The Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo and IM Weasel. I try to get into Ed, Edd and Eddie, I like the art love the music but just can't get into it. Can't stand Sheep in the Big City. Hopefully soon Weasel will return to the schedule.

My favorites are 'Power Puff Girls' (mostly for the humor) and 'Samurai Jack' (mostly due to the impressive animation.)

I don't get CN, but I've seen a lot of their shows. Here are what I've seen and liked:

    Powerpuff Girls
    Samurai Jack
    08th MS Team
    Cowboy Bebop (possibly inapplicable now)
    Dexter's Lab.

Dexter's Lab is very good! It's my fave CN show...
...and I KNOW I would like Samurai Jack. Just never get to see it...

...everything else really does not intrest me or is sucky...but even the sucky stuff is better than what most other networks have.

No contest. Courage the Cowardly Dog is the best modern show on CN.

My faves are Dexter and Samurai Jack. PPG is good, but I don't think I'd call it one of my faves. The rest all range from okay to just plain bad.

I'm sure JL will be on my list (and many others) come Nov.

I have to admit, I found Samurai Jack strangely.....compelling. I also enjoy PPG 'cause it's so darn funny (though it's very vivid, and not very good for tiny kids). If you cancel out the animation, Sheep in the Big City is pretty funny, though there are quite a few cliches....
And besides, most people look at this type of topic unrealistically. They are all under the apparent misconception tha--oh, wait. Is my post over? Ah, okay.

In no particular order, Romey's been hooked on...

    • Powerpuff Girls
    • Dexters Lab
    Samurai Jack

Actually, I just recently got Cartoon Network at home, but I only got to watch it for three weeks before I had to go back to college... and go figure that they don't have CN here. ::sigh::

Dexter, Samurai Jack, PPG are great. They're some of the best animated shows on television today.

You may not like on how I feel about Cartoon Network's home animation, otherwise known as "Garbage Garbages"

It's really hard to say what is the BEST CARTOON CARTOONS??? But I'll give you my thoughts on topic.
*Pure 100%Crap, **nothing great, ***Yawn, ****Good

COW AND CHICKEN:Just another lame cartoon show attempt to be another "Ren And Stimpy"wannabe. This show counts on gross out toilet gags, which is played out since "Ren And Stimpy.*

DEXTER'S LAB: This show is a pretty good cartoon, the brother/sister feud is a classic and original for a cartoon show.****

JOHNNY BRAVO:This one show that SHOULD be yanked from CN, and it's the same old concept..Johnny meets woman, acts like a pig, this would make any woman want to file a sexual harassment case.Get This Show outta here!!!**

ED, EDD, 'N' EDDY:Clearly this is the WORST cartoon show, the WORST animation, and the WORST toilet humor...The animation is soooo bad, that it makes "THE ROCKY & BULLWINKLE SHOW" look like it was made by the Disney Studios. *

COURAGE THE COWARDLY DOG:I simply love the program, and also it is the best "Cartoon Cartoons" currently airing on CN.It the best. ***

And here is the rest of the cartoons...
THE POWERPUFF GIRLS:I'd rather watch the Smurfs. ***

TIME SQUAD:Someone should have traveled back in time to stop the animators from making this cartoon. *

SHEEP IN THE BIG CITY:Yawn, time to go back sleep. *

And I really don't want to go on with the rest of the shows, cause I don't want to make myself get sick!!!!

If "Courage" is your favorite, then why did you give "Dexter" more stars than it? Just curious...
