TALKBACK - Total Drama All-Stars - "Suckers Punched" - [10/22]
Episode 098 - - Number 507
TONIGHT at 7:00 PM
Chris orchestrates a boxing free-for-all that puts the cast against old enemies.
Well this is going to be an interesting episode to say the least. I'm assuming either Alejandro or Sierra leaves depending on which team wins. But after the events last week two bigger mysteries are left unknown. First, now that Mal has gained complete control over Mike what's his next move? I'm assuming that now that Mike can't restrain him anymore he's going to do something a lot worse than destruction of property this episode. The next big question is are the issues between Courtney and Gwen really over? After how vindictive Courtney has been towards Gwen, I find it hard to believe she would go from admitting that, despite saving her from a enraged deer, she wouldn't have done the same to making peace just because Gwen ended it with Duncan. My gut's saying Courtney's pretending so she can stab Gwen in the back when she leasts expects it but only time will tell.
This episode was good.
A boxing episode? I wish Sam was still around. He'd turn this episode into Mike Tyson's Punch Out.
Sierra's pet looks like a mole rat version of CatDog.
Anyone noticed that that the rock Mike is bound to looks like Mal?
I like how how freaked out Scott was when he had to fight Fang. If Fang was a giant wasp, I would freak out too. Wasps scare me more than sharks.
Dang, Alejandro beat the crap out of his brother. He should've gave him the star punch.
Oh wow, didn't expect Izzy to return.
Looks like the friendship between Courtney and Gwen is genuine. Chris may have made them momentarily turn on each other with that video, but I'm glad they made up after beating each other up. Man, I wanted to see the whole fight. That would've been great.
I kinda expected Sierra to get kicked off next. Ha, everyone picked Alejandro to go to Boney Island. No one likes you, dude.
Hawkins from Urban Rivals
Hawkins has always loved Christmas and hated any kind of injustice! Even as a child, he would sneak burgers from his parents' restaurant to give to the poor children. Now with his newly found skills, every year he has a little “collection” among the pockets of the Uppers and comes back laden with gifts!
So that Izzy cameo was nice and out of nowhere. Now consider this, if Izzy is able to be beaten relentlessly to pieces by someone else, you know something's really up.
Honestly surprised to see that the Heroes lost, was expecting another victory from them to dwindle the Villains down to four and make the teams even, guess not. Maybe we'll see that with a double elimination next week for the Vultures? That pits the game at six and I'm pretty sure I recall season four merging at episode nine. This week is episode seven. Just a hypothetical guess.
Anyways, they really want to keep Mike around, don't they? If it wasn't for Chris' little twist, I'm pretty sure we'd be saying goodbye to Mal right now, I suppose the writers still need him on to drag out his story arc. If only the Vultures were aware of the evil they unknowingly overlooked. Goodbye Sierra, although she didn't get enough screentime to compensate missing out on three of five seasons, she contributed few things and her arc with Cameron is pretty much done for.
Expected Al being the one to do duty, everyone hates him, no question about it. I wish his brother won that fight though, he really needs good payback. As in, a good rump-kicking to stop that cocky demeanor of his.
Courtney and Gwen reconcile, blah blah blah, that was a boring arc anyway. Hooray, eliminate them simultaneously next week, please?
That one show about that one cat that did that one thing that involved doing some things that he wouldn't normally do or should be doing but he did it anyway for laughs?
You know what that thing did? It spawned a lot of naughty internet things.
Gwen and Courtney may have forgave but I will never forget. It's going to take a long time before I ever will forgive her. I'm not someone who let's stuff go so easily. Heck four years later and I still have sore at Leshawna for stabbing Gwen in the back in TDA.
Pretty good episode I like how no one trust Al anymore after what he did to Heather, and I was hoping Sierra was gonna be eliminated since everyone else on the Heroes team still have story plots to them, plus Sierra was getting annoying, at least Izzy is fun crazy.
I can see anyone on the Villains team getting eliminated since the whole Courtney/Gwen plot seems finished unless they have more ideas with Scott/Courtney or plan to have Gwen and Duncan get back together, Al and Cameron don't really have a plot anymore so those two are probably next to go (but I hope Mal gets through Al first).
Great episode here. Top 20 all-time. Loved the challenge, jokes etc.
I'm hoping for no double elimination and we get a final-three finale to make things interesting.

Yeah I don't see that happening Alejandro's plot has been wearing thin fast know that he's walking on his feet and Heather 's gone and btw Courtney did make it far in TDA she tied with Owen for 3rd, granted she had a head start but still. In other news the belief that the Total Drama All Stars PR statement on the Toonzone blog indicated the order the cast is eliminated has been further verified by accurately predicting the elimination for the sixth time in a row. (yet some people on the TD Wiki still believe it's a coincidence).

Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends
Awesome/hilarious episode and my top favorite,
Sierra's pet twin molerat Cody Jr. is so like CatDog, hahahahahaha.
Alejandro walking and everyone knowing it, hehehe.
Alejandro hating his brother Jose, Jose always calls him "Al", hehehe, their sibling rivalry is so interesting/great.
Duncan telling Zoey about Mal, Mike's evil personality which Zoey will know, sweet.
Mal in control about to cause some chaos, excellent.
Mike's rock does look like Mal, creepy.
A boxing your worst fear challenge, awesome!!!!!!
I wish Sam was here which he will channel his Mike Tyson's Punch-Out awesomeness.
Poor Chef even knows that is not Mike.
Cool to see Fang.
Scott vs. Fang, Fang clobbering Scott was funny/awesome as much as Scott deserves it for what he did to poor Staci/Dakota/B/Dawn/Sam/Mike/Zoey.
Gwen/Courtney finally being friends again, yaaaaay/sweet.
Sierra vs. the mother twin molerat with Sierra losing, hahahahahahaha.
Nice to see Jose, another great new villain/antagonist after Mal who's a bigger scumbag than Alejandro, hehehe.
Alejandro vs. Jose, Alejandro clobbering Jose, so funny, but I wished for Jose to win to take Alejandro down a peg, oh well, hehehe.
Cameron's fear of spiders, I dislike spiders too myself.
Cool to see Izzy who's epic/hilarious, her surprise appearance was out of nowhere while being in a spider costume.
Mal vs. Spider Izzy, poor Izzy clobbered, I hope to see her again next season.
Cameron vs. giant radioactive gophers, hehehe.
Duncan vs. a cute innocent three-eyed bird, hahahahaha, I knew Duncan loses due to his goody-goody nature.
Gwen vs. Courtney is my next favorite chick boxing fight ever after Luann vs. Frieda(King of the Hill).
Chris trolling Courtney with Gwen/Duncan coupling video, but Gwen/Courtney finally made up after pummeling each other.
Chris being at his worst for torturing Scott/Duncan/poor Gwen & Courtney in the episode was enjoyable, hehehe, he's worse than Mandy/Eddy/Bloo/Johnny Test/Rigby combined.
The Heroic Hamsters lost.
Everyone sends Alejandro to Boney Island, hehehe, and much as everyone hates him for backstabbing Heather, but Mal vs. Alejandro will be sweet.
Farewell Sierra, I'll miss you and your funny Cody obsessions, hehehe, but she'll be seeing Cody though.
Next week: Will the Heroic Hamsters/Villainous Vultures merge, I'll find out, but more Mal/Fang chaos, sweet.
I'm happy for Gwen to be in the good side with her/Courtney being back friends as much as I hope the horrible writers don't make her go to the dark path again as much as it was awful of them to turn poor Gwen into the New Heather in Total Drama World Tour after how awesome/likable she was back in Total Drama Island.

Well, that's the last of the elimination fodder. Congratulations to Courtney and Gwen for resolving their differences without getting eliminated instantly afterward. It's a bit too bad, though; with Cam taking her out of the "only good Vulture" category and her conflict with Courtney gone, Gwen's jeopardized as far as making it to the finals goes.
I bet Zoey's one of those girls who has to look up all of a guy's astrological information when they start dating.
Why would anyone agree to come back to the show to be part of the challenge during a season where they had the chance to actually compete? You'd have to be ... oh, right.
Seeing Al beating his brother was pretty awesome. Technically... Mike and Zoey didn't face nothing personal. And Gwen and Courtney solved their differences instead of finishing the fight... so in a sense Alejandro was the only one to face his worst fear and win. And that was cool.
Curious to see what will happen now that Gwen and Courtney are friends again.
And it's really good to see a Izzy cameo and Sierra flushed.
Previews for the next episode is up. Gwen and Courtney are getting a little too buddy like. I have a feeling it will not last...the way this show is.
Well since were taling about previews might as well point out that the merge takes place at the start of the episode. Thought it wouldn't be until 9 but whatever.
You know it finally really hit me that after three years of hatred and rage that split the TD fanbase in half, it's finally over. It's kind of a surreal moment when you think about it.

A good episode...
Not sorry to see Sierra go, as her shtick/one-track-minded focus on Cody had gotten old by this point.
Liked seeing Duncan deal with being painted as being less-than-hardcore... and yes, the Izzy cameo was good.
Apparently, that island wasn't as cleaned up as well as we'd figured---they apparently just shoved all the mutant animals into one spot. :-p
Old-but-amusing cartoon gags
That mole rat "pet" of Sierra's looks a lot like Catdog, as others have said.
More of the inside of MIke's head. As usual, I assume in-universe it's something Chris and the interns whipped up with CGI for viewers.
Environment Canada (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Environment_Canada) is Canada's environmental-related government agency. Wonder if shoving the mutants into one spot was the best they could do (to clean up Chris' damage)? :-p
Will the teams finally merge? Will the still-suspected-by-me-as-happening eventual blowing up of the "nice" cabin finally happen?
I really hope the good cabin works like the first class in TDWT. After the merge the winner will have the right to call another contestant to with him to the cabin.
