Steven Blum was the narrator, the father and I think even the cat but I might be wrong about the last one.

I guess that's Todd Haberkorn as the blue haired kid and clearly JYB as Guren.

Low and behold Crispan Freeman as one of the bad guys.

That might have been Spike Spencer as the shop keeper.

So far the premise is eh... but the character interaction has me interested enough to watch more.

Didn't quite get me excited on the first episode, but I'll stick. Hopefully they'll be able to finish it no matter what. I mean, I survived 45 episodes of Scan2Go out of pure integrity and they stopped it then. That was annoying.

There's so little anime dubbed in Vancouver now that I can't imagine why that would've brought on a "boring".

I didn't see a single promo for this show, like most acquired shows on CN. You don't see a Pokemon or Loony Tunes Show promo until the episode is JUST about to come on and any Pokemon movie premieres get little advertising. Cartoon Network really wants to push their original programming, but they're running a lot of acquired programming into the dirt by not advertising them. Anime gets it particularly bad since they're ONLY shown in the whee hours of Saturday mornings.I think we've seen enough promos for Uncle Grandpa to watch the show already. Tenkai Knights seems promising already since there are some GREAT voice actors onboard and I'd hate to see it get cancelled because of low ratings CN didn't even TRY to get.

The funny thing is, this isn't an acquired show. Cartoon Network distributes it:

Which is why it probably is dubbed in LA.

If that's the case, you'd think Cartoon Network would do a little better job advertising this series.

Also, should this show ever get released on DVD, I guess that means Warner Bros. will be the company who distributes the DVDs.

As for the series itself, I like what I've seen, so far.

I liked the second episode, but man! The best friend is so annoying. I don't think he'll grow on me.

I haven't heard anything about Cube Bakugan until I saw this thread. Doesn't look too good though. I'll see what's on demand I guess, but I feel like this may be too m eh even for me.

edit: ehhh, it doesn't look awful from the get go. I'll let it stack up episodes and then marathon them in the future. It doesn't seem bad enough to poke fun of weekly but not good enough to follow weekly either. Falls in the middle for "pile and then marathon through."

I saw the first two episodes and I thought that it was pretty meh. It wasn't really bad, but it seemed more like the generic kind of toyetic series with the voice cast standing out more than the story, characters and artwork. I might watch other episodes, but it isn't something that I'll make sure to watch every week.

See? CN is meh nowadays when it comes to third-party action shows.
