I remember when the first played the EEnE Valentine's special, there was a glitch that made the sound go off track. I actually have a recording of that.
Another year for CN, with many more premieres: This is 2005!
We got:
-The premieres of Camp Lazlo, The Life and Times of Juniper Lee, and the Tickle U block
-Sneak peeks of Ben 10, My Gym Partner's a Monkey, and RobotBoy
-Valentine's Day and Halloween specials for Ed, Edd, n Eddy

An authentic blend of 23 flavors
This is my personal favorite year of CN, especially the Summer. I remember seeing the bumper for CN Summer hyping everything up and making the Summer seem all cool-like. Seeing the premiere of Camp Lazlo was a very memorable moment in my childhood and this is the year that Toonami, Miguzi and Fridays were at it's peak.

I also enjoyed all the fall premieres, it kept my eyes glued to the TV. With (I think) the premiere of Naruto and Miguzi was awesome, and everything was well put together.

This is the year where CN started airing live-action. It was the beginning of the end.
However, I'll never forget the Summer packaging they had that year. Those were some great bumpers they had! I also remember the hour of previews they had with the Fridays hosts, showing sneak peeks of premieres that would show up later in the year. They even dedicated two whole segments to Toonami in the fall! That was such a cool special.
ASF: You will download Adult Swim promos and intros because we told you to.
[bump worthy]: You will download Adult Swim bumps because ASF doesn't have them.

Welcome back Toonami. I hope Adult Swim treats you better than Cartoon Network did.

Yep. This was the year when Cartoon Network launched that Tickle U thing. Remember that? Exactly. I myself may have watched it once or twice, but my point rests.

Thinking about 2005 in Cartoon Network just gives me goosebumps. I loved that year. I have some tapes from Cartoon Network back then when I used to tape Dragonball Z Uncut because I couldn't stay up at 10:30 to watch it. The summer bumpers were amazing, the City era was great. I was a huge Cartoon Network watcher back then. I would watch Toonami, Fridays, etc. I enjoyed Camp Lazlo a lot, and it is one of my favorite cartoons. I also enjoyed The Life and Times of Juniper Lee. I would watch Foster's, Camp Lazlo, Juniper Lee, DBZ Uncut, Teen Titans, One Piece (yeah, I liked the 4Kids dub), Zatch Bell, Rave Master (I woke up at 6am after they death-slotted it just to watch it), Naruto, Bobobo, Code Lyoko, Kids Next Door, Billy and Mandy, Gym Partner, etc. 2005 is probably my favorite year for Cartoon Network, either that or 2004. Those two were really solid years for Cartoon Network, and I really have a lot of nostalgia for them. I was not really watching CN during the Powerhouse era, however I consider the City Era to be the best era for CN. Really I can't say one bad thing about that year for Cartoon Network.
I don't remember having bad blood towards it because I knew it wouldn't be on for too long. So, in all honesty, I still can't say anything bad about 2005.
