It was promoted but not the way it should. CN should know by now individual episode promos usually pull in higher ratings than general promos
MONDAY: Dancing with the Stars | Castle
TUESDAY: Agents of SHIELD | The Goldbergs | Trophy Wife | Mind Games
WEDNESDAY: The Middle | Suburgatory | Modern Family | Mixology | Nashville
THURSDAY: Once Upon a Time in Wonderland | Grey's Anatomy | Scandal

Well geeze... It at least still gets a promo for what seems to be "every commercial break".

A lot of CN's shows could use that kind of love. Like Thunder Cats. =(

I've noticed that anything that gets individual episode promos always scores really good ratings.

CN is sorta just "making" Level Up work, I really don't think that many people actually care about the show. What can you expect when a network spams the same show in your face whenever they get the opportunity to? As CN's promotion for it slows down, I'm sure the ratings will steadily decrease like they are now.

If you're wondering how CN is doing with other demos, I found this info.

    http://www.medialifemagazine.com/art...ient-List-.asp

#4 with total viewers for Total Day with 966,000

#6 with 18-34 viewers for Total Day with 231,000 (Nick is 241,000 and Disney is probably higher but it's not counted on these charts I believe)

#10 with 18-49 viewers for Total Day with 347,000 (Nick is 409,000 and again Disney is not listed)

Not bad considering what little effort they put into most things these days.

Adult Swim beats them soundly with adults of course but in total viewers they are within reaching distance of Adult Swim.

I can't hardly believe Adult Swim does that well in prime time when King of the Hill is usually the only show in actual prime time but American Dad and 10PM shows on Saturday and Sunday may be counted as well.

Despite that I'm pretty sure CN winning it's weeknights with boys demos and some nights with kids demos is making it look a lot better than the 9PM hour of Adult Swim. Disappointingly I don't suspect it will ever get that hour back. They sure could use it though. It seems what is giving them the edge over Nick is having any prime time at all on weeknights and they might be able to tackle Disney with a strong programming slate from 7PM-10PM.

So, I guess yesterday was the season finale for NinjaGo, because this were the ratings from last night:

    NinjaGo: 3.340 million viewers, 0.5 A18-49

    Source: http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/201...omment-1141796

Wow. This show has been pickup of the year for the CN executives.

I think that there is the highest amount of viewers CN has had in the years, barely beating Fionna and Cake, which got 3.315.

    Very impressive Ninjago.

Woah... That's some serious ratings and from an action show. They'll probably put it on weekdays even though it doesn't even have 20 episodes.

So what was the secret to success? The day? The constant promotion? Why were Ben 10, ThunderCats and DC Nation not granted such a good time slot and such dedicated promotion?

You'd think they'd be of at least as much importance to CN as NinjaGo. And yet NinjaGo got the star treatment. Perhaps Lego made it worth their while to do so but I wonder if the success would be nowhere as grand if it premiered on Saturday mornings with little promotion?

We do have a point of reference though, the NinjaGo specials got around 2.5 with 6-11 on a Saturday encore and the reruns did plenty well unadvertised on Fridays. So it is at least partially the appeal of the show and not just good treatment. It just seems odd an action show with a serial story would do so well when other serial action cartoons have not.

And by the way those adult ratings put many AS shows to shame.

Whoah, Thundercats with a 2.0 rating on Saturday morning! Nice showing, it's also nice to see some of the other shows doing okay at 1.7 as well, it's still nothing like it used to be with shows constantly getting over 2.0 and whatnot.

Imagine how good it could do if a show like Thundercats was given some good promotion other than what tiny bit the Saturday morning lineup gets currently, maybe it could grab a 2.5 or higher....

I don't get why CN can't distribute it's promotional content evenly? It seems like every commercial break I see Adventure Time, Level Up, and Regular Show promotional footage, but I hardly see any promotional material for other CN shows. I know CN wan'ts to promote it's in house programming, but people are going to watch those shows regardless, I don't see the point in getting all of these great shows if you're not going to spend any time or effort to promote them.

Level Up is an exception. Its not doing well at all, despite the promotion.

They also promote Ninjago A LOT too (which explains why it does so well).

Hey way to go ThunderCats! YJ did fine but GL slipped again. Meanwhile Level Up (which would have been a Tuesday encore again) was a black whole between MAD and Johnny Test.

It's been a mostly decent showing for ThunderCats on Saturday morning so far and scoring a 2.0 without a Ben 10 premiere lead as well.

DC Nation is looking a bit shakey with those fluxuating ratings.

It's still quite irritating to feel like YJ, GL and TC are not being given a chance to get much better ratings.

Yeah well no wonder Level Up does bad there. While being given too many reruns a wee for one thing, they're also pretty much all reruns of the new episode only.

    Look at this:

    Charm Bracelet:

    Premiere:
    Tuesday, April 10th at 08:00PM

    Reairs:
    Wedensday, April 11th at 08:30PM
    Thursday, April 12th at 05:00PM
    Friday, April 13th at 10:00AM
    Friday, April 13th at 06:00PM
    Saturday, April 14th at 11:30AM
    Saturday, April 14th at 06:30PM
    Sunday, April 15th at 08:00PM

Yeah they need to cut way back on those airings.

Limit it to 2 encores of a premiere and don't air it in primetime on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Other shows deserve one of those slots. Go ahead and keep some visible slots on the weekend but keep it off Saturday mornings.

Disney doesn't spam a new episode to that degree and some air on two channels.

You do not get more kids to watch premieres when you make that many encores. They quickly lose replay value and reruns will continue to do worse.

Why the heck is a single episode of a show airing EIGHT times a week. They couldn't spare three of those slots to the Saturday morning premieres??? Just shows how bias CN is...ironically choosing to encore a live action show more than any of their cartoons.
