Commenters are really going to disagree with me but this week's episode wasn't my favorite. "The Curse" reminded me of Ed, Edd, N Eddy's "Sorry, Wrong Ed", even though "The Curse" was a little better.
I liked the scene with Darwin flashing back to last night, when Gumball was setting the table with good luck on his side. Also, that scene where Gumball tried to escape death in a janitor's bucket was awesome. It was great to have Gumball to get a somewhat happy ending.
There were plenty of dumb moments in this episode. The biggest for me was when Principal Brown scolds Gumball for violating the school's dress code because Gumball's clothes were torn and "obscene". I thought that Elmore Junior High didn't have a dress code because most of the students and staff there aren't fully dressed; If Elmore Junior High had a dress code, Gumball would've worn shoes. It was also a dumb excuse to have Gumball wear something embarrassing.
Yet again, another good episode. I'll admit everything before the scenes where Darwin and Anais proceeded to help Gumball was slow, but it really kicked in during those scenes, especially where Gumball got electrocuted by a thundercloud as well as the ending. The last few scenes are up there with The Ape, Gumball trying to avoid badluck at nearly every turn which ends up with highway destruction and him falling off an unfinished bridge was pure eye-candy, and that joke at the end with Darwin was pretty good too.
I just wish that the earlier portions of the episode laid out the rest better, but I guess it goes without saying that a "bad-luck" cartoon sometimes goes round with a character suffering abuse then seeking a solution to it.
All in all, it was a good one. Hope next week continues this trend of excellent episodes.

The ending was just...+
.
Great episode.
PS. I've got a feeling that the show's writers really enjoyed making this ep.
I enjoyed this episode about as much as the, "The Ape". My favorite scene was when Gumball rolled under the semi, which was rather epic. It was also nice to see Anais get more screen-time.
"I wonder to where the wind will take it?" Well... that got a bit dull after the second time around.
Awesome episode :anime: loved Gumball's song "When life hands you lemons you make lemonnade (takes deep breath)" splat XD also loved the highway scene (seriously when are they gonna finish that bridge?) Loved how Darwin's wish for snow came true XD
Best day Ever!!!!!
