So excited for this episode should be awesome

Haha, very 80's of Snarf to tell him he might break the book or to be careful with it.
And here we have the origins of the Monkian, Jackalman, and Vultureman people.
Lion O's soul! NNNOOOOOO!!!!!![]()
If life is not fair all you have to do is MAKE IT fair
The "whiskers" euphemism is getting repetitive. If it keeps up and kick it up a notch, it'll be enough for a drinking game... >_>
Edit: Okay. WTF with the super cool mecha transformations? XD
It's officially entered running gag status.
And hey, the Tigersharks are a species now. I wonder if we'll see more than 3 seconds of Monstar.
Edit- There's your epic transformation sequence. Makes up for last week.
Mumm Ra goes Saint Seiya?..................![]()

Gotta love Mumm-Ra'a transformation into this Skull warrior.
Okay. I spoke too soon. Man I love Lion-O's new armor
I don't need a signature. I'm too cool for one. LOL
Special power-up armor, huh? There's your fodder for action figures, folks.
I would suggest that it's not the medium, but the quality of perception and expression, that determines the significance of art. But what would a cartoonist know? -Bill Watterson
I'll be there to buy then too when the money comes aroundOriginally Posted by GWOtaku

Well, looks like the Book of Omens was just the start of the journey, as opposed to the end of it.
I still think the others need some focus episodes though. Hopefully soon.
Wow, this episode did absolutely NOTHING for me whatsoever, what a crumby way to follow up what was an amazing episode last week.
These kinds of storylines just have never sat well with me, the ending of the episode was really good but everything else was just not my cup of tea, it seems like next week will have things back to normal though, so thats good to see.
"Moonstar of Limbo... Give me the MIGHT, the MUSCLE, the MENACE of Mon-Star!"
I always thought Mon-Star looked like an evil Thundercat. Glad he showed up. If only they had his squid, hahaha.
Okay, after that, I hope they release figures of all the ancestors.
Save a webcomic! Read Commander Kitty!
YOU GOT YOUR HEAD ALL TANGLED UP, BUT IF ONLY I COULD MAKE YOU CARE...
And then the new series got a little bit more Animesque. I imagine that will be polarizing. I loved it. Mumm-Ra's heshin/armor sequence was awesome, Lion-O/Leo's too. I liked this episode a lot. If the series is headed in this pseudo-sci-fi/fantasy direction I will not complain.
Awesome Episode :anime:
The action with Mumm-Ra and Leo/Lion-O in Robot Armor was amazing :anime:

What are you talking about? That episode was awesome! It answered alot of questions, had some great action, and now we know that Lion-O and the group's quest has only begun.
GAO! GAI! GARRRRR!
Oh man, did I love this episode. Fight in space was just amazing

TOM's final words of Toonami. The proof of what Toonami was aimed for and was meant for. Stay Gold. You will always be first and simply the best.
It shows that they are rushing though the story ideas because they don't know how long the show would last. In most shows this episode would have been a season finale ending the first quest and starting the next greater quest. However the writers don't even know if they will have more then one episode.
Oh and yes i get it this show is Animesque so was the original only for 80's aime rather then modern anime, that's part of Thundercats.
Wait, Jaga! I have more questions! Aw crap, it's been 20 minutes and we're channeling the 80s show now? Fiddlesticks.
Until next time, Jaga's ghost. Some things never change!
That was decent...for a super long flashback. I will welcome the return to normalcy next week.
I really, really, really hope the story of this season turns out to be more about uniting the animals than about finding the stones. The former is something interesting that matters, the latter is a by-the-numbers RPG quest and more than a little similar to the overall arc of Deltora Quest.
I don't understand how the stones got lost to the winds, as Jaga put it. Leo didn't die, did he? How was the glove passed down through the generations but not other components of its power?
Leo's girlfriend was such a thin character. If they even named her, I've already forgotten it. The Tiger guy was no different and just there. I wish there had been much, much greater emphasis on the cats being oppressors with Leo being this great guy that went against the tide and wrecked that status quo. Imagine him and the GF beating down a rival general or two in addition to Mumm-Ra. That'd give Lion-O something very tangible and noble in common with his ancestor. Instead we're told a lot about what the cats were like back then, and we know that there were two cats that didn't like it and also only saw slaves to Mumm-Ra when they looked in the mirror. There could have been more to this backstory. So there's another consequence of the pacing & the approach they're taking with the narrative. That said, I'll allow that there could be more to learn about the past later.
I kinda have this feeling we haven't seen the last of Mumm-Ra's One-Winged Angel, super special awesome ultimate transformation there. Perhaps they'll subvert expectations by having the quest for the stones not be wholly successful, making a motley alliance forged by Lion-O the best hope against Mumm-Ra the Ever-Owning. Thus do I dub this transformation!
