This sounds really good, I'll definitely be tuning in having seen last week's spectacular episode.

I smell 80s references but I wonder which ones.

I thought Super 80s was gonna be a Super 8 parody but on September there's ad episode called Smurfer 8, which is obviously a Smurfs-Super 8 mix. I find it odd that 2 major sketches parody Super 8 on 2 consecutive weeks.
But then again, in Season 1 there were two major sketches parodying Twilight (on 2 consecutive weeks): Twigh School Musical & Big Fang Theory.
Nothing to see here, just keep on with what you were doing...
Papa Smurf showed up in the promo for this week's episode's Super 80s segment and so did Pacman some GoBots (pretty sure they weren't Transformers) and a Ninja Turtle in Eastman and Laird style (wicked cool).

Weird Al. ^_^
seeing all those Leonardo diCaprios and sudden Piers Morgan made me lol.
Thinking of a number.
I laughed pretty good at the car alarm spot and the GoBot wanting to be a Transformer, but the Captain America skit was terrible and not funny at all. I really liked the Spy vs Spy segment this week, I always look forward to Spy vs Spy and I would say that its one of my favorite parts of the show, especially the theme.
Another awesome MAD episode, glad I tuned in.
Spy vs Spy is just as good as ever!
I have no idea what happened, but MAD's quality has improved tenfold, sure a good amount of the jokes aren't laugh-out-loud hilarious, but it feels like they're actually trying this time out. I like that.
The Super '80s skit was chock full of nostalgic references (I wasn't born in the 80s but I knew 'em)
The Mini window cleaner was good, the alarm car was pretty good too; nothing felt half baked at all, I think this show's really winning me over.
Though the Captain America skit wasn't that good, it was my least favorite…

Everything up to the final sketch was funny. That was horrible, honestly. If they moved that out, it would've probably been better than before. But, this was much better than older episodes and I'm happy to say that this is much better than season one.
Rating: 9/10

I don't get who the guy on the right in the Captain America segment was supposed to be. :\
I thought this was a pretty good episode. The reveal of Marvin in the opening segment was good and I actually did like the two main segments. I admitt Super 80's was far funnier with J.J Abrams yelling at the kids to capture the 80's spirit (and riding on a lens flaire) Seth Green being the one to drive the truck since he thrives on 80's refrences (I don't know if kids would get that burn but yeah that's totally deserved with how Robot Chicken seems to keep recycling the same 5 80's cartoons in every other one of their skits) and the ending with Abrams slamming into Lucas. Captain America should of been more about the actual Captain American and not bothered with James Franco and you know acutally tried incopraterting more of the CA movie. I did like Iron Man nominiating himself and calling Spiderman to joins the Avengers and the third actor for the Hulk joke. The rest was pretty good. I appreciate them mixing up the Spy vs Spy segment with different animation, plus the car alarm alarm which almost sounds like an actual invention in a weird way.
Instead of just using this new signature to celebrate a thousand more post, let me list of all the great things you can expect of me on this board for 2012:
...... The same talkbacks you saw me do last year but with new episodes.
.... What are you doing still reading this? Move to the next post already! .
This was probably the hardest I've laughed watching an episode of MAD, though most of the jokes in Captain America's Got Talent never got past a chuckle for me, with the exception of the James Franco/Oscar hosting comment made.
