Hah! Adult Swim just ran a bump listing the WS higher-ups' favorite Adventure Time characters. (Mike Lazzo likes Finn, and someone picked Manfred the Talking Piñata...)

    That ending was... abrupt.

Jake: "Wow girl, if you weren't a figment of my imagination, I'd want to have your babies."

Wow! This show really gets away with a lot! I never thought CN would pull that one off.

Well, the commercial break definitely got a laugh out of me.

Announcer: We gotta break for commercial
    Finn: Don't do it, man!
Announcer: I'm sorry but I gotta---
    Finn: Don't do it!
    Announcer: STOP YELLING AT ME!!!!

    or something along those lines.

So… Cartoon Network is not content with making their premieres eleven minutes, but now they force a commercial break in the middle of it? If this happens for Regular Show and Mad, I’m going to be disappointed. That’s. Not. Necessary.

I thought that was very strange as well. Although from what I'm watching now, it doesn't look like they did the same thing for Regular Show.

Is it me or is Finn kinda dull in this episode? His voice is low and even his normal words have a bit of enthusiasm in them. This seems like an episode that was made early on but never aired. Then again it's probably just me.

Yep, this was the second episode, production-wise.

I agree. Thankfully it didn't happen for the other shows. Seems it was just done so Adventure Time could directly lead in to the Regular Show premiere instead of the usual commercial break. I really hope they don't start doing that every week, though.

Commercial break 9 minutes into an 11 minute episode. I don't get it either.

That said, I'm really liking Adventure Time as a whole. I was rather late joining the club on this show, but among this, Regular Show and Mad, I have plenty of reasons to restart watching CN.

I agree about the oddly-placed commercial break.

Only Jake can turn imagination into a plethora of deadly weapons. And Finn's very, very innocent imagination... penguins? He's got a love of penguins? Well... I guess adventurers have their non-manly secrets...

I noticed that Finn indeed sounded kinda bored. if this is indeed the second episode produced, then, what probably caused him to get into the role pretty quick on the first produced one?

The commercial break was probably to have the same amount of viewers carry on to watch Regular Show, showing that CN really wants Regular Show to suceed as much as Adventure Time.
