For all you up and coming cyrptidzoologists.....

For those of you who don't know what a Hibagon (or more appropriately called, Hinagon) is, well according to Wikipedia, the Hibagon is a creature that is located around forested region of Mount Hiba in the Hiroshima Prefecture and is in a lot of ways like Bigfoot of the Yeti, but is smaller in size, coming in at about 5 feet tall. The Hibagon is in fact a black or dark colored creature with large white feet. So in a way the advertisement for tonight's episode states that this is "A Japanese Bigfoot" (and it is..)

But the reason why it's in Tokyo is spoilerized in the Wikipedia entry.. I won't spoilerize as to why it's in Tokyo. But still seeing a Hibagon (or as the Japanese call it a Hinagon) is a rare sight to behold.

Cryptozoology 101: The truth is real.

It also should be noted that the Hibagon shown in this episode is much bigger than usual ones.

My guess is by the headphones, there's going to be some mind control in this episode.

After last weeks stellar debut I can't wait to sink my teeth into this weeks episode. I hope this show continues to draw an audience because it really has something to it and could have a few successfull seasons behind it, if not more. Man, I love Friday nights now

The plot is kinda predictable, but the dialogue and characters make up for it. It's starting to find that balance between goofy action comedy and serious flat out action, campy as it may be at times.

    "Feel better now?"
    "No."
"I do! Let's blow something else up!"

Well it's lines like these that keep me interested in this show.

I was under the impression that Fiskerton was the Mothman.

He isn't a Mothman. They cleared that up in the pilot, remember. The episode was pretty good, besides that little lesson about obsession they pushed in there.

Cool episode of TSS, funny moments galore. Fiskerton is hilarious and adds comedic value to the action. I'd give the episode 8 out of 10

    "Hi! You're going to jail!"

This was a pretty fun episode so far, and I liked the Argost doll! I've got a bit of an interest in Japanese myths and legends, but I'd never heard of the Hibagon until this episode- shh, don't tell my parents. They think I'm an expert in that area

One complaint about this episode was that it felt very fast paced... but then it's a half-hour, so that's sort of moot.

In my opinion, a full hour would have been pretty drawn out.

I liked this episode. The old-school cliché with the net was well played. The comedy was solid and I thought that the action was alright as well, even though it was somewhat brief. I also liked the subtle details, such as the family actually getting tired while chasing the Hibagon and struggling to catch their breath. On the flipside, Zak seemed to be a bit too strong for a boy his age, cryptid powers or otherwise.

Great episode! I loved the Hibagon, and the proffessor switchin' places with him. I loved the comedy bits, ESPECIALLY at the beggining with Doc being obsessed about Argost!

More comedy than the last, but loved it all the same .

(I was wondering were Don was the entire time.)

Good episode. I loved the part where Drew tried to snapped Doc out of his obsession by making him eat a fur sandwich but fail.
