Agreed. If CN acquired Shippuden and wanted it to become a hit, the only place I could see it airing is YAH.

The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy will be running in regular rotation next week. Mickialla will be happy about that.

Goosebumps taking up the 1st hour of Har har Tharsdays, no, sir, I don't like it. Here's hoping that's only temporary.

Also, I agree that You Are Here needs 1 or 2 additional shows. It would be great if One Piece could join the YAH lineup. I know that it won't happen, but a man can dream.

I like the fact that The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy is finally back on the schedule, along with Courage the Cowardly Dog (which I haven't seen in a few weeks). I'm definitely going to watch YOU ARE HERE this Friday, but I do agree that it ends a fifth show pretty fast. And also a sixth show. I'm sure that it could be expanded into four hours without running encores for an hour. I think that Naruto could do well on Friday nights, maybe in the 10pm slot. And Shippuden could replace it if and when Cartoon Network acquires it. And of course, I hate the Goosebumps on the schedule, so I won't be watching those. And the premiere of Underfist is just plain awesome.

They've stated though that the anime will be handled ny [adult swim], so if Shippuden is to air, it'll probably be there.

I actually think they do have a fifth show already for You Are Here. If the rumors of a third season of Animated are true, then Transformers: Animated will probably premiere season 3 there. With the number of encores they have though, why not move D&P Battle Dimension premieres also to Friday night, and then you can do away with Dynamite Action Squad and make the Saturday morning slot a rerun of You Are Here. If Animated season 3 (assuming it's true) premieres on Friday night, then that's the only show- outside of Robotboy which can just remain airing on CN general weekdays, that wouldn't be premiering Friday night that could be easily moved.

As for Action Flicks, it's being hosted by the Action Nood, so I guess CN was just lazy and decided to do away with Toonami's format and replace it with the Action Nood. They could have easily created a TOM Nood and used that instead, but I get the feeling that CN probably thinks that Toonami is a Tsunami of anime like the common misconception has been and just wanted to get rid of the brand all together with the new management.

Robotboy finished their episodes a couple weeks ago. The only show (besides Pokemon, which could run anywhere) that would have to move is Bakugan, maybe keeping the morning slot, without the block.

Also, TA Season 3 on YAH = Win.

If I'm not mistaken, it was clearly stated that [adult swim] will handle the anime in the Press Release announcing Toonami was ending and confirmed at Anime Weekend in Atlanta.

Nice to see Billy & Mandy return, but not nice to see Goosebumps take half of Har Har Tharsday.

Seriously, guys, I must repeat: Have CN buy Spectacular Spider-Man for You Are Here and put Transformers Animated on the block, too, and you have a relevant Friday night.

No, it was only said that Toonami was ending, and it's staff was being moved to other areas of the network. And at AWA, Bandai said that BOTH Cartoon Network and [adult swim] will start restoring their anime programming next year.

And I just saw the Underfist sneak peek. Yeah it will be Awesome.

I'm glad to see that Battle Frontier still has the afternoon hour repeat slot. I'm still hoping that I'll get to see some of the episodes that I missed, which I do regret missing as well. I am disappointed that Goosebumps is taking an hour of Har Har Tharsday's time, but it will probably only be for October. I'm also really looking foreword to the new episodes of shows on You Are Here. I didn't much of the block last night since I was watching my brother's concert, but it does seem really cool. I'll be happy to see the new season of Alien Force, even though it feels like season one ended not too long ago. I did hear that CN cut the original episode amount of season one in half, so maybe this season will make the series stronger. The promos did look pretty cool to me.

Of course, I'll be so happy to see Pokemon air a new episode next week and finish off the Wallace Cup. I may watch that

You bet I'm happy!! I just hope that Grim Adventures stays on even after Underfist has aired, and that Foster's and EEnE, and maybe even KND, will join it soon.

Both Spider-Man and Transformers have a much more Saturday morning feel to them because the action is a bit toned down. Neither seem to have the more adult-y feeling of a Friday night premiere-er. But that's just me. And though I'd like Shippuden or One Piece to air on YAH, I don't see it happening; besides kiddy anime like Bakugan and Pokemon, and airing the final episodes of Naruto, CN has nearly given up on anime and moved on to Canadian animation for whatever reason. I'd like to be proven wrong, but until further notice I don't see CN picking up Shippuden or bringing One Piece back.

Goosebumps cutting in to HHT is a bad move. HHT was short enough as it was (I don't even consider 2 hours a decent block) and seeing as the only 2 shows I watched on the block (Chowder and Flapjack) have been preempted, I don't see myself watching HHT this Thursday.

All in all, good things this week are:

    1. Return of Billy and Mandy, hurray!!
    2. New Alien Force Season, hoping the writing's improved.
    3. New TSS and Clone Wars, looking forward to it.
    4. Naruto Movie: I probably won't watch it because I don't know a thing about Naruto, but it looks like a good movie and Naruto's still popular, so it's a good move airing it.
    5. Underfist!!!! Been waiting for this for a while. Hopefully it's funny and it does well enough for a series to happen. Hey, if Re-Animated could get a series, this should be able to.

    Bad things:
    1. Still no Fosters, EEnE, or KND. Hopefully soon though, hopefully soon.
    2. Goosebumps cutting into HHT?? Why??

Underfist being on the Flicks this weeks makes the Flicks movie count at

    Animated: 6
    Live Action: 10

Hopefully they'll keep this up. And I guess I'll start a count for Action Flicks too. So far, they're all animated!! That's really good.

    Animated: 2
    Live Action: 0

More good things than bad this week. Goosebumps isn't airing as much, which is good. And I guess even cutting down HHT isn't that bad, since Chowder and Flapjack aren't new lately anyway. On the topic of HHT, I think they need to add a few shows to it. It's a measley 2 hour block while YAH is 4 hours and has room for encores too.
http://mickialla.deviantart.com/ Check out my DeviantArt Account! There's nothing much up there yet. I'm hoping to get stuff up soon, though!

I guess you are only counting premieres. But anyway, I must say that it's rumored that Naruto the Movie 3 will be airing, and a short clip was shown in a Nood commercial that was advertising Cartoon Network as the place to be this Fall. And they are also airing that 2007 Direct-to-DVD Dr. Strange movie. So that makes the count:

    Animated: 4
    Live Action: 0

Oh, and You Are Here is three hours, not four.

Actually, I'm only counting movies that have been shown so far, because we're not sure if that schedule will be changed. They took Doogal off at the last minute, they can do it with Action Flicks too.

And even if YAH is 3 hrs, it's still longer than HHT.
