Friday Night Action Block Speculation(predictions, etc.)

Actually, B:TB&TB is coming on November 14, second week.

Exactly, which is why it would make sense for the block to start right around then; when all the shows are airing.

I'm still not 100% that Ben 10 will be premires, since it would be a big blow to the SatAM block.

I guess launching the block in November would make sense. November Sweeps (I know it doesn't matter except for the Big 4 Networks). Meh. They've launched a bloc kw/out one of the shows before, so they could do it again.

You know what they'll do? Start Secret Saturdays and Clone Wars in October, then in November they'll add Ben 10 AF and Batman, along with the packaging.

I just hope the packaging doesn't end up being the one used for Dynamite Action Squad or an extension of it. Don't know about every one else here but I think the DAS packaging pretty boring and I don't really like the live action "hosts".

Who does?? Personally I don't like anything when it comes to block packaging these days on CN, not even for Har Har Tharsdays. CCF was the best, and Fridays wasn't bad. Even Toonami's bumps are nothing compared to what they used to be, when they showed game reviews and fan art. Ah, those were the days.

But yeah, I don't really like DAS either.

I'm pretty sure the block could premiere on October 3rd. Since the block is going to be (most likely) 2 hours, the first week could be:

8pm - The Secret Saturdays (1 hour premiere)
9pm - Star Wars: The Clone Wars
9.5pm - Ben 10: Alien Force

Or some varition of that. In fact, they could even not air Ben 10: AF, and just give Star Wars and TSS an hour each. The following five weeks before Batman is to premiere though, I'm not sure what they would do.

Well I'm not sure what the promo exactly was. I came right when it was ending, but I saw a ship sort of going inside of a machine- like Cartoon Network logo, followed by the 9.03.08 thing. Nobody here caught the whole thing?

Just saw the full promo. It's pretty much what I said before, although I did get a closer look at the ship. I'm not to familiar with Star Wars ships and things, but I don't think it had anything to do with that considering Star Wars what just clearly announced in a different ad. This promo was a bit more mysterious.

So this just might the action block we've been waiting for. Looks like it takes place in space to. Toonami possibly?

Finally saw that 09.03.08 teaser and it reminds me of a mix between Toonami and Clone Wars. Needless to say, it gave me chills. I have no idea what the block is going to be, but it looks amazingly epic.

I don't think it's Toonami. Why would they advertise it in such a mysterious way if it was Toonami?? Wouldn't they just have an ad like "Hey, it's TOM, starting (insert date here) Toonami is moving to Friday nights. Yadda Yadda Yadda"?? This is probably something different. And if the theme is so similar to Toonami, than it lends more credit to the thought that Toonami is ending. But than again there's the arguement that the block is indeed intended for Friday nights, which means CN wants to leave Saturday for Toonami. Why?? Are they planning on something big for Toonami??
