    Ed, Edd n' Eddy - "May I Have This Ed/Look Before You Ed"(TV FINALE) - Talkback[6/29]

    Like This Thread!

Premieres: June 29th at 7:30 PM Eastern
    Repeats: None

It's been a while since we had a new Ed, Edd n' Eddy episode. Well here it is. CN has billed this episode as a "lost episode", but it aired in other countries before airing today. This is the last episode of the TV series, but fear not. We still have a TV movie coming soon before we can say a final goodbye to our mischievous trio. If you know any kids, make them watch the marathon today so it can get high ratings for CN. The last time CN had an Ed, Edd n' Eddy marathon leading into a new episode(The Best Edder Day), CN beat Nick and Disney for the day. It could happen again. Here's the synopsis:

May I Have This Ed?: The Eds attend their first school dance. Edd isn't too excited about going, but naturally Eddy is stoked.
Look Before You Ed: Edd and Jimmy make a safety club to make winter safer.

Darn. I have to work during that time. Perfect opportunity to use my TV box to record it.

NO!!! No repeats?? Darn! I was planning on making my little sisters watch the marathon so it could get high ratings, till I realized I have to drive to visit relatives on a 4 hour drive . AND I DON'T EVEN HAVE DVR!!!

Unless you're a Nielsen family, what you watch doesn't affect Nielsen ratings. Also, the episode will probably be on CN Video tomorrow or the week after.

To be a Nielsen family, your TV has to have a Nielsen box, right? When did they start putting those in? In the early 90s?

It’s a special program. It would be a violation of the law for them to monitor your viewing habits without your consent, and you can’t even volunteer and request that they select you. I believe they contact people at random and ask them if they’re interested in participating.

According to their official website, there are roughly 5,000 households in the United States that are "Nielsen Families".

I was once part of that. Then they chose to stop paying us, so we quit.

So yeah, since I've taped nearly every single episode of Ed Edd n Eddy (except for the episode that premiered during Best Day Edder, my tape ran out just as it started and I never remembered to look for a repeat of it), I've got a tape all set up for both this and the movie later on.

I was hoping the snow safety one would come first.

Wow, it's rare I see you post outside the Anime, Adult Swim, and Toonami forums.

Off-topic: Do you watch Chowder or Flapjack?

I post on the Entertainment and General Animation forums, too.
Also, I watch Chowder more than Flapjack.

So, the school has been destroyed. I wonder where the kids will go to school now.

Anyone notice the outfits the Eds were wearing. They looked like those forign swinger guys from Saturday Night Live, the Wild And Crazy Guys.

This show does takes place in the past, they still use LP record, and who still uses the word "dame" anymore?

Something's wrong with hearing the words "Sarah" and "angel" in the same sentence, no matter the context.

Way to bring the series full-circle by having the Eds destroy the school, causing everyone to go on vacation for quite a while (granted, it'd be better if this episode took place at the beginning of summer, but still).

Edit: Oh, guess the school is back.

Did he just say "Junior High"?

I didn't know they were in middle school.

Where did Jimmy get all those teddy bears?

And the school becomes a safer place at last.

"Rolf finally feels safe enough to appear in this episode."

Yeah, the building has been ID'd as "Jr. High" all season.

I think the "final" episode made for a better finale than this "lost" episode.
