Two questions I had...
1. Why do the big childrens cartoon networks feel the need to dumb down programming for their target demographic instead of just doing smart programming that is funny to adults but not so highbrow that it goes over kid's heads (Like some anime with more adult and philisophical themes)?
2. Why don't they give us any backstory on Stormhawks? It woulld be interesting to find out why the ground is such a wasteland and they live in the sky, or how Cyclonus came to power (Although they hinted at what her inner self is liek in one episode) or even how the Stormhawks met or their biographies.

1. Because they need it to appeal to the demo as much a possible to get ratings..
2. They Might eventually, idk, don't watch the series..

Yeah, but if they appealed to both the young and older demographics at the same time, wouldn't they get better ratings?
