Well, what can I say? The sneak peak was kinda good, you know, it's like Ned's Declassified, or in my opinion. Space Jam at school. If anybody watched the first half of Shrek, tell your opinion. And please keep the bashing down.
During The Shrek movie premiere on CN (like a couple of minutes ago) they aired the first promo for Out Of Jimmy's Head, aka Re-Animated, the new Cartoon Network original series coming this September. Although it's a CARTOON Network Original it's also half live action. And more then half of this ad was in life action sadly enough which kind of gives me even worse feelings on the show. Guess we'll see how it fares but this was the first glimpse of the new name of the show (Formerly Just "Re-Animated") as well as the first regular TV show ad for it. Expect it to start playing a lot after Shrek airs and a whole lot more after the Ben 10 movie airs next month.
Instead of just using this new signature to celebrate a thousand more post, let me list of all the great things you can expect of me on this board for 2012:
...... The same talkbacks you saw me do last year but with new episodes.
.... What are you doing still reading this? Move to the next post already! .

Nothing to say.
Whoa, I just made a thread like this, time for Red to merge yours and mines.
Nothing to say.
Red's busy. I'm around. I handled it.
What does the X stand for? It's definitely not Extreme. Extreme starts with E.
I'm really, legitimetly upset that cartoonetwork is adding a live action show to its roster, even if it is mildly tied to a cartoon.
Live action is why I HATE Nickelodeon, Disney, basically every channel with cartoons except Cartoonetwork.
Seriously, I'm pissed. Is anyone actually HAPPY about this addition?
Uh, no you're not. Join the club.
Why would you be mad at Nickelodeon and the Disney Channel when they never said their networks would be exclusive to animation?![]()
Im not what? Mad, or the only one upset?
Cartoonetwork never said it would be exclusively animation (to my knowledge), and your right, neither did Disney or Nickelodeon. Then again, I didn't say I was "mad" at Disney and Nickelodeon, I said I *HATE* those stations because of what they show. Theres a difference there.
Besides, if your mad too, and I think you are, then why are YOU mad at cartoonetwork? They never said it was going to be exclusively animation.
I think somebody needs a chill pill
mmkay
Virtually no one likes Re-Animated(The Movie was alright, the story was told reasonably with poor acting). The name change doesn't help
Just don't tune in, and it will be swiftly kicked off, just like robot jones..
I'm not mad. It's just that you said you hate any network that shows live-action along with animation. I'm just asking why.
Also, the name "Cartoon Network" is the reason why some people are mad that they air live-action movies.
Personally, I'm tired of the bashing of CN since it happens so frequently on this forum.
Third OOJH topic tonight, right? Sometimes it seems as if members never tire of complaining about this crap. My advice? Don't watch it. Pure and simple.
Exit... Stage Van
Heh, and out of Flapjack and Chowder, i thought it would be the last aired
So does this mean Flapjack will premire in October or January(Since Chowda in Nov, maybe release a new show every 1/2 months)
Are you kidding? I love Cartoonetwork. I'd never think of bashing it, I love every CARTOON on it. Its because I love the cartoons so much that I'm pissed they'd even think of adding live-action shows, shows that almost always have bad plots, bad actors, and bad jokes. So thats why I hate Nick and Disney, and thats why I dont want "Out of Jimmy's Head" to even air.
Man, when will people learn? Things Change for the Better or for Worse. Nothing stays forever. If it's Gagging and Vomiting to you (Gavomiting, a new word), then don't watch the show, and if you hate Disney Channel and Nick, then don't watch Disney Channel and Nick. If you're so pissed at them, then don't watch. Simple.
Nothing to say.
I did, and I just commented in it.
And now, back to our regularly scheduled commentary, already in progress.
Yes, you're not the only one mad or upset about Re-Animat . . . Out of Jimmy's Head.
When Nickelodeon launched in 1979, they weren't all animation, just "The Young People's Network," bland and boring. 1981, when more cable and satellite outlets picked it up, they loosened up a bit with the addition of a fine Canadian show I call You Can't Do That on Television, and in 1986, revamped itself into the network we see today. When Disney Channel launched in 1983, it was partially owned by Hallmark at the time and was a bland network with classic movies, shows, and shorts with new programming for all families. In recent years, the only thing that is clearly Disney is the name. The rest of the lineup seems to have taken the "Radio Disney" mantra to its core.Cartoonetwork never said it would be exclusively animation (to my knowledge), and your right, neither did Disney or Nickelodeon.
When Cartoon Network (like the mothership, two words, not one) launched, its core mission was to be a 24-hour animation station. Aside from Banana Splits (which had animated segments), live-action was minimal, almost non-existant. Cartoon Network's new management in 2005 decided that they wanted to get the Nick/Disney crowd by airing older Disney and Nick live-action movies as well as acquire and develop more live-action programming for all its dayparts, including Adult Swim. 2006 gave us Zixx, Saved By The Bell, Pee-Wee's Playhouse, and Re-Animated. They were the first.
They are not the last.
Man has created devices that allows one to not watch a particular program. There was the dial, which you turned to move from one channel to the next. That got antiquated really fast, so came the remote, a simple, yet effective device that you can change the channel without getting off your butt. If those elude you, there's always the power button. Then again, I didn't say I was "mad" at Disney and Nickelodeon, I said I *HATE* those stations because of what they show. Theres a difference there.
You don't have to watch those channels if you don't want to.
I'm old enough to remember when Cartoon Network aired an interstitial that basically stated that they'll air cartoons 24/7/365 until the end of time. They never said it was going to be exclusively animation.
I also remember when Cartoon Network aired interstitials. I also know what interstitials are.
It's a crazy world. It's been that way since time ended back in November 2005. I think that's why people are "mad" at Cartoon Network.
What does the X stand for? It's definitely not Extreme. Extreme starts with E.
The key difference here, folks, is that Cartoon Network originally claimed to show animation and nothing but animation 24/7. Nickelodeon and the Disney Channel did not. They only claimed to air family oriented programming, be it live action or animation.
And Jeff has a point; just because something is on, that doesn't mean that you have to watch it. If a particular TV show irks you, simply hit the button on your magic remote control and *poof!* It's gone. Out of sight, out of mind. Problem solved.
Heres what I really don't get, why you all seem to think that even though I hate these channels, I watch them.
I don't.
I'm not aloud to hate something I don't watch? I hate them because I USED to watch them, they included shows I DONT enjoy in mass quantities, and now I can no longer enjoy said station.
So please, stop recommend I change the channel. I don't plan on ever being on that channel in the first place. I just don't want Cartoonetwork to end up like the other two stations, because at that point, what cartoon channels are left for me to watch?
Edit*
And for the love of god, stop acting like the remote is some magic wand, everyone knows what it does, everyone knows how to use it, the problem is finding something GOOD to watch when "Out of Jimmy's Head" comes on.
