Emotionally withdrawn thanks to togepi

In episode 701-702 when togepi evolves into togetic and leaves Misty was any one else sad? This is the first time I have ever been emotionally effected by a cartoon show I know this episode is old but does any one else think they will one day be reunited and if so will Togetic evolve again into Togekiss in the newest episodes?

The scene itself was certainly pretty emotional, and Rachael Lillis did an excellent job with Misty.

As for Togepi itself, it was the biggest blunder the writers ever made with Misty's character. Its no surprise that the first thing they did after Misty left the show is finally resolve its story arc and stop making her into some demure maternal character.

But still there was a strong bond between them I just dont understand why Togepi left Misty, they have been together through most of Kanto and all of jhoto, I understand togepi wanting to be with its own kind but as I recall pikachu turned down living with his own kind, and at that time Ash barley knew pikachu...

Sara (the princess in the ep), said that even though Hanson is gone, some new evil person could come and the whole thing would start all over again.

Togetic didn't leave just to be with its own kind, it went to the Togepi realm to act as a guardian for them in case some new villain comes down the road. Since its in another dimension, and the writers gave Misty an Azurill as her "new" baby Pokemon, I don't think we'll ever see it again. Its story seems to be pretty resolved.

I guess your right But as in other episodes in the past they have always introduced each pokemon through a series of different episodes saying that do you think we will see togekiss presented as an evolved form of Misty's Togetic?
