This should be good. I know many TMNT fans like veemonjosh and Sketch will be pretty happy about this.
From 12 PM to 5 PM, CN will air 10 episodes of the TMNT 2003 series on March 24th. Most likely this is because of the Movie releasing that weekend. I bet this news will make some people here very happy.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*falls out of his chair in excitement*
Though seriously.
KICK SHELL.
Now I need to go see what episodes they are airing.
EDIT: Good episode selection
The Shredder Strikes
The Shredder Strikes Back
Return to New York
Hun on the Run
SAME AS IT NEVER (FRIGGIN) WAS
Bishops Gambit - which I believe hasn't aired on CN yet
My only dissapointment is they aren't airing the season 3 finale.
Everyone watch this. EVERYONE! We might have a chance to salvage TMNT's ratings before CN completely closes the book on it. With any luck it could at least be filler on Toonami in April (a guy can dream). CN is the only network in the US that would dare to air the Ninja Tribunal season.

That's certainly good news as far as it goes.
Exactly how good depends on which episodes they're airing.

What do you get when you put three friends in a recording booth once a week, screen old anime, and tell them to make sense of it? You get the Anime of Yesteryear Podcast! Tune in each week as we kick back and discuss anime of old, both the well-known and the obscure, as well as our thoughts on the latest developments in the world of comics. (Updates Weekly!)

TMNT is still isted on CN's Show section even though it hasn't aired on CN since 2005 or so
I probably won't watch, most likely DVR

Cool. It would have been better if they air the Lost Season but this is okay too.

So CN doesn't show TMNT for a year+ or whatever it was, and now they magically show a marathon for the movie? How low can you go?
If CN didn't treat TMNT like crap, I may have bothered watching this. I have all these eps on DVD already so I won't be watching.
Tell CN "It's a little too late" for me to bother with them. This is like trying to reap the benefits of something you crapped all over in the first place.
Forget this.
You'll never get anywhere with that attitude.
This might be the last time Same as it Never Was airs in the US. I've got it on DVD but I'm still watching this marathon to show my support.
Too little too late isn't the attitude we should have now. There's always hope for a better tommorow. I mean in CN's defense the only thing they didn't try (which they should have) was giving it a shot at prime time. They did their best to get kids to watch it but that just wasn't working out. Other shows have had less timely demises as well. TMNT held the same spot on Miguzi for about a year. That's showing some good faith I'd say. It's not CN's fault kids didn't want to watch it anymore. It is their fault for not trying it with 9-14 on Toonami like they did with One Piece (which proved quite successful). The only show from 4kids that deserved to be on Toonami never got there and that's just not right.
Is it low to cash in on hype? Sure. But every company does it. It's the same reason TMNT season 4 DVDs got a TV ad this week. It's the same reason why TMNT season 1 part 1 comes out on DVD in the coming months... and it's definently the same reason 4kids is having their Ninja Awards this month. We fans benefit from these stunts as well though so I don't see why it's such a shame that they take advantage of the moment. If Disney hadn't have done that when FF was in theatres last year then we probably wouldn't have seen more than a few episodes of the 90s FF on DVD and the same goes for the 60s Spider-Man set. Fandom thrives off these stunts. It's how we get what we want without even having to ask for it.

Sorry to say, but I won't be watching this either. Had it occured on almost any other day of the week, I probably would, but 99% of the time I'm out of the house Saturday afternoons and usually don't get back until 5:30 or so. So, no TMNT for me.
Oddly enough, That weekend I'll probably be watching the TMNT Movie instead of the marathon.

I'm glad that I now have a DVR and can record them in decent quality. too bad the Digital Cartoon Network won't be on by then.
Now that I have my portable Media player, it's great I'm able to catch so many of the old shows again, although I do wish that Boomerang would pick up 1987 TMNT. I just wish that Boomerang was formatted better....it's tough to watch with the way it's setup now.
edit - and I'm not talking about the shows, but how they air and produce stuff around the shows.

Why? I only tape stuff that won't get rerun for a while and that I'll never watch again. I've seen all these TMNT episodes before and I'll get them on DVD when the season sets come out. There's no reason for me to record TMNT reruns when I'm just going to tape over them pretty soon anyway.

Has Ninja Time been rescheduled, lately? For all we know, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the NES will appear on the Wii Shop Channel on the 19th of this month. With that being said, there's only one thing to be said at a time like this: IT'S NINJA TIME!!
