A one-hour T.V. movie, entitled "Good Wilt Hunting" will be the season finale. Another Creator Reunion at Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends has come and Wilt once again has had no visitor. After making a late night phonecall Wilt sets out on a quest across the country to right a terrible wrong he did in his past. Will he find his owner?
Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope Wilt's creator is old, because if his creator is young it would contradict with the photo album.
My prediction:
Wilt's owner is a MacGuffin.
AKA world gets cheated.
Michael Jordan. alright...![]()
One Very Important Thought.
Well this explains how Wilt lost his arm(well most of it) and how his eye got so tiny
Really this is not really a movie more of a special8/10
This seemed to take some cues from Stump Looks for His Roots and Space Jam.
So we finally find out why Wilt is broken and why he's so helpful.
It was a little slower paced than what I'm used to from a Foster's adventure, but all in all I give it an A.
Hora erat quinque.
I just realized that one of the nerds was wearing a shirt with a "42" on it.
That was an awesome reference.
I give this special a 10/10.

Man, after the inital jolliness of the reunion, the movie became very bitter-sweet.
The whole "Everything wants to belong to SOMEBODY, right?" which led into the lost friend was pretty depressing. "What if she doesn't want me anymore?" A tearful, yet happy meeting with the lost friend and her family, was puncuation with a laugh with the family grabbing Wilt, and crying, but still a pretty big departure from Foster's usual all-out good time.
But I wouldn't change a thing about it. FINNALLY seeing Wilt's story was actually a relief. For a LONG, LONG time I've been wondering why he is the way he is. So, outside of his arm, and eye, we see why he CAN'T stop himself from helping somebody in need, even if it impacts his own well being. He felt so bad about losing that game he vowed NEVER to let anybody down again.
But seeing, his creator is Jordan Michaels, who is now a complete success save Wilt return the favor and save HIM this time was great.
There were the usual Foster's staples. Edwardo's creator giving Frankie ticket after ticket. Frankie racked up $559.87 in ticket payments. And the nerds, I got some serious Comic Book Guy, and Mandark vibes.
And Wilt playing court side Ref was just great.
I loved "Good Wilt Hunting" I waited ALL day to see it, and I wasn't let down at all. Foster's ALWAYS makes me laugh, and this is no execption. Go Foster's.
In case anybody is wondering, the refrence is to the answer to life, the Universe, and everything in the book "Life, The Universe, And Everything" by Douglas Adams. It's book two out of five in the Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy trilogy.Originally Posted by veemonjosh

That was a great mini movie. Wilt has always been my favorite Foster's character and we finally know how he lost his arm and got his eye messed up. I almost cried when Wilt & his creator got together again. It was so heart-warming.
It's interesting that the imaginary friends serve an extra purpose for the child who create them for who they become when they grow-up.(Like Eduardo helps Nina to stand up for herself and Wilt showed Jordan that winning isn't everything) Though I wonder what Bloo's "extra purpose" for Mac is...
It was a solid story and concept, but the length just didn't feel right to me.
I just wanted "more".
7.5/10

I'm not the biggest Foster's fan. But the movie was pretty cool, and I'm glad we got to see how Wilt came to be. It was also nice to see the other creators of the Foster crew.
It was awfully short for a movie, though.

I wonder if they'll do a special with Coco's creator.

Don't expect a long review from me, however, I truly enjoyed this short film. It was hard NOT to have high expectations for "Good Wilt Hunting". I believe a solid majority of us have been wanting to know why Wilt is the way he is physically and emotionally, and with GWH, we finally get to witness Wilt's past with his creator (being Jordan Michaels) and his basketball rival -- Foul Larry. I enjoyed how Wilt discovered Floofy, and that he was able to find her kid. That just proves to you how he is certainly a true gentleman. Ed and Nina were awesome. That was one of my favorite aspects of the movie. I would love to go on, but I may have to wait until the Thanksgiving weekend ends.I really can't think of a whole lot to say right now. I definitely enjoyed GWH, and the staff has done a wonderful job with it. I look forward to Season Five, which I assume will begin after the holidays.
Actually, the Answer was revealed towards the end of book one.Originally Posted by Draven
And it's not much of a "trilogy". :P

This movie was a big improvement over last week's ep. . .and I mean a BIG improvement. Meeting the people who created Wilt and Coco was a hoot, but I was kind of let down that those two nerds were just the guys who discovered Coco. IIRC didn't Wikipedia's entry on Foster's state that Coco's creator was a little girl who survived a plane crash and was marooned on a desert island? It would be a hoot if we met the person who created her and find out WHY she did.
Finding out why Wilt acts the way he does was rather interesting and kind of explains his personality. It's kind of like how Bruce Wayne became Batman as a way to redeem himself after witnessing the brutal murder of his parents. It's sort of the same thing with Wilt--he didn't want to let anyone down again after losing the big game for his creator.
Anyhow, I give this an "A" definitely.![]()
well she was on an island so it is still possible.Originally Posted by DocForbin

i loved it. 5/5
Though it was discussed before, Bloo is more than likely Mac's "id" in his ego, doing and saying all the stuff he wants to but can't due to him being the responsible straight man. Terrence bullied him constantly, and Bloo basically pranked him in retaliation since Mac never could.Originally Posted by Bubblegum Girl
I'm very impressed by the movie. Seeing Coco act as the mother to the two nerds(somewhat resembling Dexter and Mandark in a way). I really liked how they dropped those subtle clues as to what happened to Wilt and why he's the way he is. I'm not ashamed to admit that the little pink bear almost had me crying too.
This movie shows that there's still a little bit of spirit left in Cartoon Network.
