PLEASE HELP, trying to remember cartoon cat's name

hey folks. i'm having one of those days where i'm trying to remember something (something stupid), and i CANT, and it's KILLING me. i've scoured the internet trying to remember the name of this cartoon cat i used to watch when i was younger. i was hoping someone here could help me, so i can sleep tonight.

the cartoon was probably on in the early to mid 80s. the main character (at least i think he was the main character) was this cat that was short and stocky. i'm pretty sure he wore a derby hat. he may have been either grey or white. i think he lived in like this old 57 chevy or something on top of a junk heap. i remember when i was a kid i thought his girlfriend was hot (hahahaha). she was a white cat and all the dudes were always after her. the main cat _may_ have had an accent, but i'm not sure. i remember that he was a real savy dude.

this is killing me. i've asked everyone i know and people seem to remember the cartoon, but not the name of the cat. many have suggested Top Cat, but i know it's not him. also, i'm very unsure about this, but this may have been one of those cartoons that was a part of another cartoon (like how Underdog had a bunch of sub-cartoons).

i know this thread sounds stupid, but it's just one of those dumb things you cant stop thinking about and it's torturing me (i'm sure you've all been there at one point or another). if you help me think of this you will be my favorite person in the whole world and i will be forever in your debt.

--Riffraff, the leader of the Catillac Cats. His shorts were part of the Heathcliff show. He was a brown cat, and he wore a blue baseball cap, if I recall correctly. At FUN & GAMES is a pic of a couple of them--Wordsworth (my favorite) and a brown tom whose name escapes me, who appear to be leering at Riff's Persian girlfriend Chloe.

THAT'S IT! THE CATILLAC CATS!! omg, everything is rushing back now: Riffraff, i think his girl's name was Cleo, the big, slow witted one was Mongo, Wordsworth was (i believe) the one always in roller skates, and then the other in question was Hector.
