Why don't Warner Home Video release more CN shows on DVD

    Like This Thread!
Why, there are millions of shows (old shows no less) that are being bought out on DVD, so why can't any CN shows be released.

It does seem recenentlly though that more shows are being released, last year we "Codename: Kids Next Door" and this year were getting "Edd, Ed and Eddy", so does anyone know if any more shows are being released?

Did I hear something a while ago about Atomic Betty and Fosters are getting a DVD release, or was that my imagation?

Yeah, Breakthrough Entertainment made a deal with WHV to release Atomic Betty to DVD, and I only heard from one poster here that Foster's was going to have a release. But, I don't know whether or not to trust in that.

Anyway, you can't blame WHV for the 'shortage' of Cartoon Network animations coming to DVD. The only one you should be pointing fingers at is Cartoon Network itself.

That was me. And I only know that because the marketing lady Nancy Spears from Warner Home Video paid our company a visit and mentioned shows being released to DVD such as Foster's and Atomic Betty. As well as some DCAU movies.

Well, I'm glad that she mentioned Atomic Betty, as well as Foster's.

    Hmm. Take a guess.

Let's put this into perspective. It's not like WHV calls Cartoon Network up and says, "We're ready for another release. This time, let's make it a Megas DVD."

Cartoon Network has to contact WHV, and then WHV and Cartoon Network will work together to get the DVD ready (or something like that).

How do you know that it works that way?

Care to elaborate? Is WHV re-releasing some of the animated DCAU movie DVDs?
