Looks like UK is finally getting brand new KND!!
It's about time too! I know all the US peoples here have seen them already, so what would you say about them? Best series yet? Or was it not so great?
-
...
Let me know when they put somthing of substance on CNUK.
-
Stop whining, CNUK has way more cartoon cartoons than CNUS due to no Toonami,Migugi and Boomerang blocks, yet still you complain
-
hmm wake me up when they pick up Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi.....

No, we have more cartoons that suck, that's my beef. Where's Hi Hi for example? Why in hells name is the Crap Twins on CNUK to start with? Why did they move Beyblade to CNUK inspite of it being the channels' cheese. The only thing of note is Forsters but that's into reruns so...
I could go on, but I'd just embarass you.

Wake you up when Hi hi comes on? Then you'll probably be sleeping forever, since the JPOP culture is nowhere near as big as it is in the US. I'd rather have the variety that US gets over the 16 blocks of one show every single day that we have here.
Now they're pitching this "Pet Alien" stuff, which apparantly is a 3D CG type show which is on CITV (kids block on ITV. Shows for babies and/or people who can only afford terrestrial TV).
All we've seemed to have had lately is new Cramp Twins, so new KND is really a step in the right direction. I think that anyone who's seen both the US and UK CN, can agree with me that the US one is by far superior.

May I ask what season you're on in the UK. Let me be living testament that the show gets better as seasons go by. Have you seen much of Father, Cree, or the assimilated league of adults yet? The whole series really gains epic status in season three and continues into season four. If you're not watching it yet, tune in. At first, the character designs reminded me too much of the tween-oriented Pepper Ann (another show the creator worked on), which made me doubt the story-telling ability of the series, but it goes pretty deep. War, betrayal, huge robots. Good stuff.

I kinda like KND now (I watched once before, didn't like it). It has some great adventures, great storytelling, etc. I look forward to future episodes.

No offence CookieS (and I meen it, I saw what happen to that idiot who did it last time *Refferernce, Disney Boards*) but if I wanted "War, betrayal, Huge robots", I'd rather Toonami UK get Gundam Seed.
And personaly, not even the greatness that was the DragonBall Z and Pink Panther parrodies in operation RECALL (or...that package one) could help my opinion.
And let it be said, Pet Ailien is the worst CGI series I have seen this side of Jimmy Nutron and I wouldn't be too supprised if it was another European import, we seem to get way too many of those which are total crap. Where's Code Lyoko for goodness sake?

I think that can be applied everywhere as far as Tuner UK is concerned. I think if I asked to be woken up when they finaly got Adult Swim over here I'd be woken up when the 4 horsemen show up.

These new episodes will be Season 3 of KND. Well, the newest episode that aired here was END so I guess it is 3 yes?

Hey its cool if you disagree. KND is an action comedy and most people like their cartoons one way or the other...not both. Also don't worry about me biting your head off. If you explain yourself I'm cool. Gundam Seed is so much darker than KND. No comedy there. I just like it because it can take the serious ideas and have fun with them.

LOL. Where the heck is this coming from? We were talking about KND in the UK.

From an eairler post concerning Pet Ailien. Call it a heads up (and Barf bag in).

At the risk of angering several people, I'll say I don't think Pet Alien is so bad. It's not the best cartoon ever, but the writers can pull off some fresh stuff. The episode 'Box of Doom' is a great cliche buster for the old "Dumb character mistakes harmless object for great danger and tries to get rid of it". Plus any show that has Charlie Adler in the cast is cool with me.

Meanwhile over in Asia, we've yet to see the End of the Cree arc. We've seen Support (which introduces us to Cree and her Battle Ready Armor) and Kiss (which ends with Cree on her cell with Father talking about the Moonbase), which is all a set up for End.
(Meanwhile, wonders why if Cree was so hot for Hoagie in Support, she was shocked to find out that she Kissed him.)
What would you like to do today?
*
Help Hey Arnold! fans get closure to their series: Go
here and/or
here (preferably, both).
*
Get Road Rovers another season: Go
here, then.

We might not have new episodes for a little bit longer yet though because they haven't even given a date just yet.

:/ That's like saying that Megaman NT warrior is cool due to Rock being voiced by that guy who did Genki's voice in Monster Rancher and Netto being voiced by Brad Swele.
But as CookieS said, diffrent horses for diffrent courses (Paraphrased).
Just wake me up when we see Yu Yu Hakisho on tv.
-
Wha? :-S Why wait for the televised version when you can get the uncut DVD version with extra's n junk. I don't see the point in anime on TV when you can get it in box sets n stuff and watch when you want.
Sorry I've gone off topic. I got nothing more to say :P
