Can't wait. I really wish they'd air DD more than one day a week. Gonna have to work pretty hard to not miss an episode.

I would have loved to have seen some ads for the show's comeback. Thanks Cartoon Network. I will enjoy this.

Every Friday commercial since Sunday mentions that new episodes of Duck Dodgers begin this week, and I've seen the commercials almost 5 times an hour. The only time I haven't seen them advertising it is on Adult Swim. It's kind of hard to beat that publicity because 18 * 5 = 90 times a day that it has been advertised.

"Mark of Xero" was very good. Pure classic Looney Tunes shtick, complete with lame disguises, Porky's stutter, and a joval pompus stooge as a villian. Some of the lines were weak..."Good thing this giant cape doubles as a parachutte."......but overall, nice work.

"I See Duck People" was really funny simply for the dialogue...

"Does anyone here have a grandfather?"
    "Yes I have a grandfather!"
    "Was he a man?"
    "Yes!"
    hahah

The things you'd never expect to hear in a Duck Dodgers cartoon... Just awesome.

Missed them.... oh man... Since Sunday...why not saturday when I watch CN the most. Oh well.

Onto the episode: Frozen in a time and space....bla bla bla.. Duck Dodgers in the 24th and 1 half century!!! bla bla Fighting Tyranny!!!

    The Mark of Xero

A hero named Xero plays the parody game again. I love the parodies on this show even if it's still Daffy and not a real hammed up version of the real character. This ep was summed up by Daffy when he questions the Commandante about what going on. What IS going? Why is Duck Dodgers in this place doing all this stuff? Beats me. But it was funny. the commercial break interruption, porky losing his clothes like Cathrine zeta did in that Zorro movie... Nice smooth animation, OddBall!!!, Blowing up Bots, Pinky Boo boos, nothing making sense, light sabres, even a rerun of Dragon ball. Not bad.

The second half wasn't as good as the first. Dodgers's inability to express how frightened he was for a few seconds was a nice dusting off of an old looney tunes gag. I can't remember exactly who made that little noise that DD made. It was a toon that featured two cat brothers and one always screamed for the other, abbott, and they were chased by some big monster.

Great show guys, whoever makes this crazy stuff. I'll end with a bad pun. You quack me up.

Xero can't even spell his name right...

    Him...

    What if...

Luffy: I'm gonna be king of the pirates Xoro!

Seeing Daffy dressed like that really make me miss Darkwing Duck.

Yeah, would have never expect a Dragonball...anything on Duck Dodgers. Pretty good episode in total.

    Deep Thoughts: 1/07 Fri

    1. That fat Chinese hat-villain, from Austin Powers?

    2. Watch reruns of Dragon Ball, the heck?!

I thought today's episodes deserved a B overall. As was previously mentioned, the mockery of old Looney Tunes and the Dragonball franchise were things that couldn't be beat, but the second 1/2 just seemed to have something missing until the end of the episode. When the ghost actually appeared and revealed that he was causing the noices along with the ship, that was classic. I almost was waiting for Scooby and the gang to show up on that second episode with the way it was good. No matter what though, it's good to see Duck Dodgers back at a reasonable time with new episodes.

Dodgers was doing it because a) to help out the folks in need, since he is a hero after all, and b) because it was fun.

I too laughed when Cadet mentioned Dragonball. I almost choked on a Ritz I was eating...

I actually had a problem with the ghost showing up, not just because the frightening scenes (As well as the "HEY I'M POPPING UP BEHIND YOU AND WINKING AS WE IRIS OUT" ending) were horribly generic, but it would have been a lot funnier and more original if there really were no ghosts and Dodgers had just been paranoid the whole time.

Still, the dialogue beforehand was gold.

    Jebus, that was funny.

"This is why we don't bring him on many missions."

The "You had a grandfather who was a man who wore pants" was funny but after seeing South Park's John Edward episode ANY cartoon spoofing psychics is going to seem lame by comparison.

The Xero episode was funny too. I liked how the Commandant had no clue Dodgers was Xero.

One complaint: Stop giving Porky Pig nipples! It's creepy!

    Otherwise ****.

They seriously do that? I didn't even notice. Guess I didn't think of looking for a pig's nipples...

Hey, it's not my fault for noticing. They have even given him a line about his nipples being cold.
