It is doing excellent in the ratings.
I'm just curious: Does anyone out there know how Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi has been doing in the ratings since its first airing, as reported by ToonZone? Is it still drawing the girls, or was one look all the girls needed before they said, "This show ain't worth it!" and changed it to some 'tweenie show on Disney or Nick.
I've seen this show for three weeks, and I just can't warm up to it for some strange reason.

Really? I haven't seen it on the Top 15 Cable Programs.Originally Posted by Red Giant

Toon Zone stuff. Hi-Hi did better with its Friday ratings in November than KND and Fosters. And thats big.
I dont want to give to much info away, but just give you a general idea. Hi-Hi is the best kid show on Fridays right now.
wasnt Fosters the highest until it was out of new episodes? I hope Puffys doing good but not just because its the only new thing on
Considering the huge number of shows on cable, plenty of shows do very well without making the Top 15 Cable Programs.Originally Posted by PeppeRaskell1
Is this show any good, I have not had time to watch it yet.
Plot wise? Noooooooo........Originally Posted by Kenshin900
Humor? Is very random like Fairly Odd Parents or Spongebob, but not to that extreme though. Sort of on the level of the first seasons of Dexter or PPG.
As for the ratings: Yay, it's doing well. We'll maybe get lots more eps eventually.

Wise words from Dennis:
Diet Pepsi won't make you skinny.
Country singers support alcoholism.
Women's magazines destroy families.
I don't know what kind of people are watching this show, but suffice it say that demographic remains a mystery to me.
I'm watching it.
Hi Hi has been doing well, although last week it was the lowest-rated show of the night, behind both telecasts of both KND and Fosters and the 2 x-mas specials they aired. It still did well, but fell from the shows that preceeded it and those that came after grew.Perhaps all the marketing money ran out.
CN is advertising the heck out of Ami-Yumi in New York. I see ads in the subways and on the trains.

I think I saw a movie a week ago in an AMC theater, and the "Hi Hi" promo was shown before it. Lots of advertising for the series is going on.

Hmm. Well, then if it's not a lack of marketing, I guess the audience left just because the show stinks.![]()
Where do you find these ratings by the way?
Not a fan of the show, but it seems like most girls like it....
I did find the "Stu-Pid-Oh" joke pretty funny though.![]()
CN issues a ratings release every week....very often it's posted here.
I saw some kids in the library today looking at Hi Hi's website and playing games, they had to have been four or at the oldest seven. My guess is that young kids and some older girls are the main target.Originally Posted by Desslar
