Do fishes use fart sounds to communicate?

"The fish tend to make noise more often when in the company of others, which suggests it plays a social role, the researchers say."

Oddly enough humans attempt to make less fart noises in public except sometimes as adolscents. Is it possible we attempt to communicate to each other in fart sounds and then move on to other modes of communication?

How many people try to communicate by farting? My grandfather does for sure as he makes frequent jokes to accompany them, I assume in translation.

do i communicate by farting? hmm... i guess on some occasions i do. like when i'm sitting in my room typing on toon zone or playing nintendo or something and then my mom or sisters decide to come and bother me, i usually rip a good one to let them know to go away
